I built a tank level sensor for my water filtration system to alert me when I need to add peroxide to the tank. The property is near the ocean, so it’s constantly humid. I used a raspberry pi and an ultrasonic sensor, and I wanted to protect the pi to the extend possible without going crazy on spending and fabrication. These worked well to fit power and data cables into the pi’s enclosure.

They were very easy to install, and after rain, ice, and snow, they have held up with everything inside the box still dry. To be fair, they have been on a box suspended off the ground, and they have all been facing down, so it’s not like they’ve been put through any “ultimate tests” with regards to water, but they are perfect for what I’m doing.

My only complaint is I received (and paid for) many more than I needed. The rest go in the box for a rainy day (no pun intended). They are solid and make a good deal around the wire. No complaints. There is really no way to fit more than one wire so plan ahead.

Very easy to installOur old junction box outside had cracked during a hurricane and these along with the box worked great. Wires are water tight and everything’s been working great. I even tested the voltage in the rain and it was safe.Very happy with this purchase

Easy to use. Im making a power box for my inflatable one man pontoon boat. They seal great around the wires. Make sure you use the right size. Great value and they have great thickness and sheerness after installed. Just what I needed.

Did the trick. I was installing a wire for me new electric gate. Used these to seal the penetration into the new box. No moisture or any issues since installing them.

Out of the 20 pieces, 11 had warped, stretched or extra material on the thread gaskets. Three had extra material on the inner ring seal. The warped and stretched ones would just pop off when tightened - the only way to make sure they sealed was to use some silicone sealant inside and out. I was able to trim off the extra material on the gaskets and collars, but why should I need to?5 star on the plastic parts, 1 star on most of the rubber.
