lead detected
I've been reading about lead showing up in housewares and jewelry and was curious to try out these swabs. I did a swab on a known sample, suspected sample, and another metallic sample I knew would not contain it. The test seems to function as intended - no false positives or negatives from my sample base. I'll be recommending them to friends and family to use as well.

Didn’t work.
Tested against known lead object and there was no change on swab.Instructions were followed correctly and proper storage was used.Maybe do not use these as your end all testing for lead.

I could not test my new dish
I disliked. It didn't tell me my old dish or painted end table had lead. I am sure they do. It did tell me that a solid piece of lead was lead. The liquid didn't have a dropper to put 5 drops on swab.
