If I had to use 1 knife in the kitchen only, this would be it.
Most people won't know 2mm thickness is. So I did a test. Its about 3 credit cards thick. I love the ergonomic of this blade and handle. It allows my to hold my hand center over the blade more for cutting thin slices of of beef for jerky making. The thin blade is a PLUS, because it allows me to cut thiner slices of meat and veggies when chopping. You cannot get the same level of sharpness on blade that is too thick. This one is just perfect for my needs. It is very light in hand because of its size and thickness. The build looks solid and the metal goes back into the handle. Gorgeous patterns in steel. Affordable price. I wish I would have bought years ago.

Sharp knife
The media could not be loaded. I own another knife from this brand, and I’m always impressed by the packaging, it’s exceptionally well done and makes the knife feel like a perfect gift. The knife itself is incredibly sharp. I’ve used it to cut beef and slice chicken into uniform strips, and it delivers consistent, precise results. So far, I’ve had no issues with rust, and my previous knife from this brand remains rust-free as well (though I never wash my knives in the dishwasher, as you shouldn’t, it’s a rule I always follow). The balance is excellent, with a comfortable weight that gives me great control while cutting. It’s both functional and versatile—I’ve also used it to chop vegetables, and its width makes it quick and easy to transfer food directly into the pot.

Excited to use this in action
The media could not be loaded. I haven’t used the Huusk Meat Cleaver Knife yet, but I’m so excited to try it! The 6.4-inch hand-forged Japanese blade looks incredibly sharp and durable, perfect for meat cutting. The craftsmanship and ergonomic design are impressive, and I can’t wait to see how it performs in the kitchen. Definitely looking forward to putting it to the test!
