As of now I’ll give it 5 stars. My wife and I about 4 hours to build. We took our time and just followed the instructions. One part was labeled backwards but it was pretty obvious. I like the finished product but time will tell. Most of it is sturdy and feels solid. However there are a couple of areas where it didn’t feel like the screw’s bit very well. Hopefully it will be ok. It has been used by a guest for three nights with no issues. Overall I think it’s a good value

Let’s first admit this was not a beginner project and certainly needed 2 of us to assemble. It is sturdy, heavy and good looking. Did I say heavy? The white paint looks a little thin so I plan to paint and seal the seams with caulk to make it look more high quality, but compared to the $3-6k the furniture stores want (and they were still rickety( this was better value for the money.

We are very happy with this Murphy bed. Solid wood and very well made. Instructions could use a little tweaking, invite a friend over for a pizza (you’ll need the extra hands), take your time and you’ll be fine. It is perfect for turning an office into an office/guest room. It was a little white/boring so we gave it some color inside with peel’n stick wallpaper and some decorative knobs on the front. We also added a small handle in the side of the lid to make it easier to lift open and close.Now it feels like a cozy little nook.

I am very pleased with this Murphy bed! The desk size is perfect and the build is very durable. A trifold 6” foam mattress fits perfectly

I purchased this bed for the second bedroom in my tiny, 2-bedroom Boston condo and it makes me feel like I finally have a comfortable place for my guests to sleep! I use this in my home office, so it's only occasionally used as a bed, and it looks great. I will say, definitely grab a second set of hands to help you assemble, because it was not easy to do solo.
