Great SUPER food snack!
I bought the assorted pack and I love this snack. Great tasting and not overpowering like some other snacks. Will definitely buy again but probably straight from the makers because its cheaper that way. I just bought this because of the assortment pack and now that I know which flavors I like I will just order larger packages but much cheaper from them directly!

A Similar Texture And Satisfying Crunch Like A Nut When It is Surprisingly A Seed
Brass Roots Incan Seeds have a similar texture and satisfying crunch like a nut when it is surprisingly a seed. The first bag that I opened was the Lightly Salted flavor. When looking at the seeds, it looked like it could pass as a cousin or relative of the Marcona Almond as it was a little tanner in color and fuller in shape. The first bite produced a satisfying crunchy sound and texture just like a nut and yet it is nut free. The flavor is very earthy and savory with the Lightly Salted flavor but oddly had a slightly bitter finishing note and taste. The remaining flavors: Cinnamon Crunch, Ranch, and Sweet Heat were evenly coated with seasoning and added a tasty flavor that could satisfy a sweet or savory craving. Of the four flavors, my favorite is Sweet Heat. It leaned toward the sweet flavor while the chili flavor was mild and ultimately reminded me of the dipping sauce that is usually paired with egg rolls that I enjoy so much. I noticed the three different seasoned flavors hid the bitter aftertaste that I had noticed distinctly with the Lightly Salted flavor. The common ingredients amongst all four flavors are Organic Sacha Inchi Seeds, Avocado Oil, and Sea Salt. Depending on the flavor, the following ingredients are also included:Cinnamon Crunch: Tapioca solids, maple sugar powder, cinnamon, natural flavor, and monk fruit extractRanch: Tapioca solids, sea salt, natural flavor, onion powder, yeast extract, garlic powder, tomato powder, spices, white distilled vinegar, lactic acid, and citric acidSweet Heat: Paprika, garlic, spices, vinegar powder (tapioca solids, white distilled vinegar), yeast extract, monk fruit extract, and paprika extractIt is a nut-free, gluten-free, Keto, Paleo-friendly, and Low-FODMAP product. The products that I received have best by dates that vary from 9 months (Lightly Salted) to 11 months (Cinnamon Crunch, Ranch, Sweet Heat) from the date that I received it. Overall, this is a tasty quartet that can satisfy a nut craving even when you must maintain a nut-free diet.

Satisfying!
Both my husband and I enjoyed these seed snacks. We agreed that they're sort of like I'd a pumpkin seed and a peanut had a baby. They're nutty tasing. The seasoning is just the right amount. They're crunchy at first, then you get the seed oil coating your tongue while you chew on the fibers. My favorite flavor was the cinnamon crunch. The price is fair. It is only slightly higher than those bags of honey roasted cashews you can find at gas stations. I recommend you give these a try.

Nasty
These things are so gross I threw them away. I admit it comes down to personal preference. This snack is not for me!

Castor oil taste
I get these might be a healthy version of what essentially is like a large oily corn seed. No matter what the flavor, they impart a pretty strong castor oil aftertaste. Not super pleasant to me, but others may be fine with it. I personally won’t be buying more.

We like them!
This is a variety 6 pack of 1.75 oz bags of Brass Roots Incan seeds that includes three lightly salted, one sweet heat, one ranch, and one cinnamon crunch. I hadn't heard of these before, so when I ordered them I read a little general information about them, and I also read some other reviews. These are the roasted seeds of the sacha inchi plant, which is indigenous to South America. The seeds are high in protein and various other nutrients, and they are hypoallergenic. The reviews I read were very mixed. It seems you either love these or you hate them, so maybe there is an actual physiological reason sort of like why some people hate cilantro. My husband and I both ate these, and we think they're pretty great. Your mileage may vary, but to us at least, they do not "taste like dirt", they are not super dry, they do not have any strange aftertaste. To us they're roasty, nutty, and crunchy. We only have two issues, one being that we both thought they could use a little more salt, and the other being that at $19.99 for six snack-sized bags, they seem somewhat pricey. I of course don't know what goes into harvesting and processing these, so there may be really valid reasons for the price. Regardless, they are tasty enough to get for an occasional tasty, healthy treat.
