Time Traveling to 1944: Celebrating a Special Year

This was really great idea. Family all sat around asking the questions in the book to my dad. It would make him think back and tell stories. The family enjoyed it.

This is a unique and interesting book fill with tons of information on the year 1944.

The chapter on King Michael's coup in Romania was a gift from a colleague. It enriched my understanding of Romania's role in WWII, a topic I teach in my European history classes.

Excellent review of a critical time period.

Tomorrow, September 2 marks my 80th birthday. I have been very fortunate in my 7 decades and feel I lived in the best era. Many of the points in the book I was educated on and many memories are within the pages of this book.I must state on page 91 there is really only one Tim Rice. And the man with the glasses is Danny Divto.
