This was gorgeous. However the skirt part does seem much longer in person than it does in the picture. I reached a little under the knee which was unexpected. I think this could be nice if it was tailored to be shorter. However the material was much thinner a standard leotard or dance costume thickness. It seemed to be very sheer in parts it wasnt intended to be see through. The applique was falling off and held on only by a few stitches. There were also lots of pieces of the mesh on the applique that could be cut off. You definitely could clean up the applique and add some stones and i think it would help. I think this could suffice for a last minute show or just for fun or a little kids dance class. However I don't imagine that this would hold up very well. My expectations were low but the qaulity was even lower than expected. This was a soft material despite being very flimsy/thin

It is very pretty. Not very sturdy. One of the gems fell off as I took it out of the package. Do not pay attention to the size chart. I measured my daughter prior to purchasing. She generally wears a Medium. The size chart had her wearing an XXL. She is swimming in it. It is HUGE. Do not size up. Purchase normal size. I rated it 3 star only because of the misleading size chart. Other than that, the price fits the product appearance and structure.
