Graft didn't survive winter.
Healthy looking tree when it was delivered but the graft didn't survive winter.

Inadequate information
The seller needs to state clearly whether or not the plant is grafted from a mature tree. This is critical for two reasons. 1. Seedlings ( not grafted) may not come true because of unintended cross pollination. 2. A seedling not grafted will take many years to reach maturity before fruiting. The purchasing customer needs to know whether they are purchasing a grafted plant or seedling.
