They are very similar to the Columbia version of these shorts but less expensive. The sizing was accurate. They are well-made, comfortable shorts.

Nice shorts. Lightweight also works well as swim shorts.

These Men's Cargo Hiking Shorts Quick Dry Work Shorts for Men exceeded my expectations!The good: they are VERY lightweight and stretchy! Not sure the material is work wear, but it definitely is awesome for yard work, kayaking, or hiking! The material breathes and really flexes as you move around. I didn’t test the waterproofing, but they seem like they’re dry quickly if wet.The bad: the material is a bit thin. This can be good and bad depending on the situation and what you’re wearing underneath. The belt loops could have been spaced a bit better. They fit true to size.The ugly: I don’t think the person that designed the pockets has ever seen pockets before. Gabe they usually design women’s clothes that don’t have pockets. They are positioned “off” a bit and are not ergonomic when trying to get into them.Overall I really do like these shorts for outdoor use. Even with their flaws, I’d order more.

These are my favorite type of shorts. Comfortable, durable, and not bad looking with plenty of pockets to store phone, etc. Well-made with good leg length. Size is accurate. Made of mostly nylon and some spandex to allow for easy movement.

These might be my favorite summer shorts (even though it's not summer yet). - The bucks khaki color is true to the listing photos - Waist size was also accurate - The material really is nylon and spandex, thin, smooth and light. It looks like the material in the second listing photo (the dude with the fingerless gloves), it does not look like the canvas/denim-type material in the first listing photo. - The small pocket on the front of the left thigh is suitable for smaller cell phones: I have an S22 in a thin case, the pocket has 1-2mm width to spare, but the depth of the pocket is short 4-5mm. This is reasonably okay for my S22 though, the material of the shorts is quite stretchy and I can just stretch the flap over the top of the pocket and close it with the velcro on it. - The zippered pocket on the lower back of the left thigh IS big enough for my phone, with more than an inch to spare in width, 4-5mm excess depth. - The material is totally flexible and stretchy, more than sufficient for any kind of hiking or activity; you could do yoga in these. - The material is also very light weight; you are not going to get any warmth or insulation out of these, but for someplace hot, especially hot and humid, these will be very comfortable. - The other pockets are all good sized. Both back pockets and the lower back left thigh pocket are zippered, both lower front thigh pockets have flaps with velcro. - There is a hard plastic triangular ring on the right front belt loop, convenient if carry around items on a s-hook or carabiner (like my keys).Total 5 star, I might order another pair in a different color.

Bought these for my husband to wear to work. He didn't like them at all, said they feel like swim trunks and felt weird. The size seems accurate and the description is correct but they didn't feel like "hiking shorts" in my opinion.

DESCRIPTION:This is a pair of men's cargo shorts. I am 5'11", 190 lbs, 34 waist. I ordered size 34, Grayol color. The shorts have seven pockets:2 large back pockets with zip closures1 left low thigh pocket with zip closure1 right low thigh pocket with velcro flap closure2 high hip hand pockets, open1 high small (small cell phone) pocket with velcro flap closure————————PLUS POINTS:1. Each zip pocket has a plastic pull extension looped onto the metal zipper pull, making it easier to find and use.2. The button snap closure has Velcro behind it, so it is double secured.3. The belt loop on the right hip has a captive plastic triangle secured to it. This is perfect for clipping keys on. In other shorts, I have clipped keys directly to the belt loop which eventually deforms it.4. The waistband is stretchy and pulls in any slack, making a belt optional.5. Sizing information was correct. This 34 fit my 34 waist perfectly.6. The cell phone pocket is located perfectly. In other shorts/pants, a cell phone always seems to bind and not lay flat. In these shorts, the phone rests flat upon my thigh. Perfect (except for depth noted below).————————MINUS POINTS:The left hip pocket is not quite deep enough for my Samsung cell phone, there is about one inch of my phone protruding. It is still usable, however, making for quick retrieval.————————OVERALL: Very pleased with these excellent shorts and I expect to use them a lot.
