I love this little cam, very reliable even in the bad weather conditions. Way pay big companies for surveillance when you can buy a dozen of these cameras and put them all over the house and yard plus monitor them from anywhere at anytime on your hand held or laptop.

THE CAMERA DIED AFTER A FEW MONTHS.I've got several Reolink battery cams, but the outside cams aren't very sensitive to infrared motion. I wanted a cam that would work in visible light, constantly monitoring, similar to AC powered indoor units.Although the images have a SIZE of 2560 x 1440 pixels, these are extrapolated/upressed. I'd guess a native res something like 640x480. Images have very large sharpening halos, and are posterized, looking somewhat cartoonish.The images look fine on a small smartphone screen, though. Just don't transfer them to a PC... You won't get anywhere near enough detail to identify people's faces if they are 15 feet away from the camera (IE-no police identification).Motion sensitivity is very good, triggering on single snowflakes when sensitivity is set to medium or high. On low sensitivity, ground squirrels chasing each other triggered recording almost as soon as they reached the viewing/target area.Playback speed is very quick, maybe triple that of my Reolinks. The recording timeline is easy to use. Zoom and Pan/tilt work well.I wish I could access the cam on my PC, but I'm guessing that's not supported due to the very low detail of the sensor.

I can’t say enough. This thing is great. The camera has an excellent picture both still and live video. You get an alert on your phone through the app when someone comes into frame. There is a light and siren that can be set when it detects someone. This is a have to buy.

First off, there are some pretty good aspects to these cameras:Decent video quality - you can clearly make out faces and enough detail in the videos both during daytime and at night.Decent app - the app is pretty good, it is a central place that you can view all cameras, change settings, operate PTZ, etc. Totally fine for these cameras.Easy setup - it's great that they come with a wall plug and they cameras were pretty easy to setup. The only issue I had with all three cameras is that they app couldn't automatically detect them. However, the QR code scanner easily added each camera.No installation required - this was important to us since we can't permanently install anything on our exterior.We now have three of these cameras setup and they are OK but have some negative points -They are temperamental - the AI doesn't always defect humans in human detection mode and the "scheduler" for turning the lights on and off sometimes just disables itself. On only one camera it took several reboots and several times setting the schedule before it "stuck". Also the lights are pretty weak.Motion detection is so-so - I have found that the motion detection needs to be on the highest setting to semi-reliably capture people. Headlights in the distance, however, seem to set the cameras off constantly. Sometimes the motion detection will work but video does not keep recording, presumably because it stopped detecting motion.Storage needs improvement - the complaints here that you have to subscribe to cloud storage are not 100% correct. They do provide cloud storage and they say they provide 24 hours of storage. They DO NOT provide 24 hours of recording time, it's simply a 24 hour span, which is nearly useless. So, effectively, you need to buy storage (either their cloud service or a micro SD card). The cameras can't support both cloud recording and SD recording at the same time, so if you do get an SD card so that you don't have an ongoing paid subscription, you can't have a backup 24 hours recorded to the cloud.As far as I can tell, these are the best cameras available that install into an existing outdoor light socket. If they made a few improvements, they would be 5-star cameras for my needs.Suggested improvements:Improve AI person detection.Update cameras to record 15-30 seconds of video before and after each motion event to avoid gaps due to poor motion detection.Allow for simultaneous cloud and internal recording.If you want customers to stop complaining about your cloud storage, at least allow 24 full hours of recording and not just 24 clock hours.Make general bug fixes to app/firmware to make settings in app more reliable.

this is a awesome camera my girlfriend has one of those top dollar cams and this one is just as nice if not better nice clear picture very user friendly and the download and install was super easy in 5 minutes it was setup and done I highly recommend this product

NOTHING TO DISLIKE. SETS UP FAST AND EVEN RECORDS. IT'S HELPFUL TO HAVE 1,200 INTERNET SPEED. IT WORKS ON THE 2.4 GHZ BAND. I'M BUYING 2 MORE AS SOON AS I CAN.

This is my 4th camera because of how these things are super easy to use and do a fantastic job for the price. Most big brand PTZ cameras are hundreds. I needed a camera for my barn so I could keep an eye on the animals. The fact you can pan and tilt the camera makes placement much easier and now I only need to 1 camera in there. The night vision is very impressive at this price point. I have new barn kittens and need to keep them confined for a couple weeks. This camera makes it possible to watch them without disturbing them too much. I can certainly see how busy they are at night. I also get to pan it over to the chicken coop area and see they are all roosting for the night safely. I have a micro sd card in the camera and I can play back when there is something I need to check on. This camera must have got an update because it has sound detection which is big for a barn area. Animals can be loud at times but it is peace of mind when I get an alert on my phone because of excessive sound detected.One day I checked on my kittens and could not find them. I used to camera to play back where they could have gone and noticed they jumped up high. I checked the camera and digitally zoomed in by pinching the screen. The picture was clear enough I could see they were just sleeping up in the rafters.I have had these cameras for a while with the barn camera being the newest. This camera came just 2 weeks ago and ended up having a sound issue during live view and playback. I contacted the seller and they rectified the issue super quick without any hassle. I’m sure we have all dealt with amazon sellers before. I would have to say this seller is by far the best in customer service.If I wanted to features of a Lorex system, I’d spend the $500-$1200 on a system. I definitely don’t have a lot of money right now as I’m sure the rest of the country can relate, but I need to be able to keep my animals safe. The price of this camera is almost insane for the quality and capabilities of it.

I ordered two of these on sale ($30 each) and wasn’t really expecting a whole lot. I’m used to the cheap cameras of the past that had horrible grainy pictures, even though they say they’re “full HD”!! Things have changed!! I really just wanted them to see what my dogs get up to when I’m gone all day but they will prove far more useful than that.The night vision is amazing and very clear. I can just point one towards my window and I can keep an eye on my truck in the driveway (auto theft is horrible these days!!). I was planning on getting an outdoor camera solely for that purpose but now I don’t have to!My main and maybe only complaint is the playback speed doesn't go faster than 2x.I lied. I have another complaint - the power cord is quite short. I had to order some adapters so I can use the 10 foot charging cables I have, so I could put the cameras where I actually wanted them, not just somewhere close to an outlet. Took off 1 star for these two things.There are so many features and settings, I don’t know what most of them do, but I haven’t really looked into that part of it much.I’m very glad you can turn off the motion detection notifications. Every time one of my dogs ran by my phone would go off. I think it was even picking up on my fish swimming in their tank!I got a 128GB memory card for each camera, I’m not paying for monthly cloud storage. I’m not sure how long they last but they haven’t filled up yet and it’s been over a week that they’ve been continuously recording.I mostly forget that they are there, but when I remember I feel a little weirded out being “watched” in my own home, even though I am the only one here and with access to the camera feed…..Or am I????Overall I am extremely pleased with my purchase. I do recommend this product!!!

I am always concerned when I leave the house and have been wanting to get a low cost security camera for my house. I compared prices, reviews, comments and this one stood out from all the rest so I took a chance.The camera quality says 1080p and it might be but it still looks not as high quality as it could be but still looks great. I can see everything within the range of the lens and it looks clear. The night vision is really good and shows everything it can pick up. Say you hear a noise and are in bed and want to check but all the lights are out and you may be too scared to get up to check, the night vision can add piece of mind being able to scan the room or maybe front door.Motion detection is almost flawless, I only ever use it when I leave the house or go to bed for the night.I bought mine a couple years ago and am still using it to this day. This one was bought for my parents who also wanted piece of mind while they were at work due to recent break ins in their neighborhood. They love it.It is a great price and really decent quality. You can either set up a card to record video or have it sent to a cloud with a subscription. The camera is definitely worth it and would be really good used as a camera in a baby's room. The motion detection alone would pick up any movement and alert your phone immediately.

I’ve bought a lot of different wifi cameras but this one is by far the BEST!!! It has everything you need, motion detector, 2 way voice, you can move the camera view from one side to the complete other side plus you can move it up and down to view everything! I absolutely love it. If you have any issues, this company has the BEST customer service. The most nicest people that will help you and make sure you are satisfied. I now have 3 of these cameras and you can view them all at the same time if you want in a grid it’s amazing !!! Great price as well you won’t be disappointed!!!
