It fixed the issue
Great product for my 2013 Ford Escape XLT! My heater would only work on the 4th setting, Googled the issue to find this to be a common issue for my car. Took ten minutes to install and now all the settings work for the fan speed!! Thank you Amazon!! Here's a picture of the old one.

Works fine along with some ideas that might help you!
This is my second one in just under 3 years (35 months to be exact). Now supposedly there is a limited lifetime warranty but I did not test that because I needed a new one quick and for $20 bucks I figured to heck with it, let's get it going. The only ding I'll give it is on longevity but everything else works exactly as anticipated. It fits perfect and matches the OEM version in terms of function. Doesn't seem to cause any more noise or anything. Here are a few things I learned with this:1. Unlike the Honda original, this original replacement failed closed, which is interesting because that means the rear blower motor just kept blowing no matter what the switch was doing. The original honda one failed open meaning nothing came out of the back regardless of configuration of switches. I kind of like the fail closed more because at least there was air of out back, however, there was no way to shut it off, at all.... Even shutting off the front did nothing.2. These are cheap parts and mine only lasted 35 months. You might be able to test the warranty, hard to say. Don't expect one as good as the original Honda part which is much more expensive. I figured I could replace this one 4 times at least before I got up to the cost of the Honda original so to me it was worth it. YMMV.3. Getting this in and out is super easy. Just make sure to retract the driver's seat all the way, and remember it is hooked up front so undo the tabs that hold it onto the center console, then pull back slightly. Don't force the front off or you'll break it.My final tip is if any of the tabs are loose you can re-bend the metal OR if you break one you can actually use tape and build up a small tab again that won't rattle and will fit tight.Good luck!

GREAT and saved a LOT of money!
This was for my 03 Suburban with auto temp (basically if your ac/heat display shows digital numbers and not just manual knobs then you have auto). The blower acted strange for a few days and then stopped working completely and cold air would trickle out of the vents on while driving and at idle no air at all came out. A faint “clicking” could also be heard in that area under the dash only with the ac turned on so I figured it was this or the blower motor. I ordered this one based on reviews and the price as it is $172 at the auto parts store so obviously this one is much less. I also bought a blower motor and changed that first. It did work at first but after a couple of hours the same thing happened so I installed this and problem solved! I also have had an issue for a long time where at idle it would only blow semi cool air and cold only in motion and it fixed that too! Now it blows cold all the time. This kit comes with everything you need including connectors. The harness is a direct fit and plugged in easily. You will only have to cut theee wires from your truck and connect then to this harness and the new wires come pre spliced. Total installation time start to finish was 15-20 mins frustration free and it works great! I suggest you save money and buy this one instead of wasting an extra $140!

Works great! Make sure to order the proper part number!
Good US Made product (GWA Auto Parts) that fixed the issue I had with no air blowing from my 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4. All 5 blower settings would not work. Only got cool air when driving at highway speed. A friend mentioned it may be a resistor issue. This product is a Kit so you get the resistor and the harness pigtail. You simply install the resistor but need to clip some wires and attach the pigtail with some butt connectors. After watching a youtube video it seemed a pretty simple job. Took me about 20-30 minutes in all. I'm not a professional but can fix quite a few things when given good directions. The youtube video mentioned to be sure you look at the existing part and what is required for the mounting holes. Part # 973-405 is what I needed and had 4 mounting holes (even though only one hole on each side was needed to mount properly). Part # 973-409 has just 2 holes (one on each side) but the part is configured a little differently on how it fits the vehicle. Do your research to ensure you have the right one. Some reviews complain about it not fitting and that's a user error not a problem with the company providing the product.I tried to buy this same part from Napa Auto Parts locally and saved almost $20 getting through GWA Auto instead. I like Napa products but I also purchased a Blower Motor for a Prius from GWA Auto that also works well and again was easy to install thanks to youtube. Nice to get quality products from a US company and not some knockoff from China. I will keep buying through GWA Auto when possible. Thanks!

Problem Solved!
This part fit our 2013 Ford Fiesta perfectly and solved our problem with a heater/AC fan that did not blow at all at speeds 1 and 2, barely blew at 3 and worked so-so at 4. I read online that that is usually a symptom of a bad resistor, so took a chance and bought this product. I also saw multiple videos online showing where the part is and how to replace it. The replacement was pretty difficult only because, on my car, the location and access are very awkward -- it is under the dash pointing forward, so I had to unscrew this totally blind and by feel. But ultimately I was able to get the part in may car and the problem is completely fixed. Just like new - all four blower settings blow and 3 and 4 are much harder than before this fix. It's July and the car cooled down super fast. Access may be better in your vehicle, as this part fits multiple models. The part itself feels solid and durable and the configuration/shape/fit were identical to the replaced part. Very satisfied with this part and saved a lot of money with the do it yourself repair.
