Might be a good thing to be small, just depends on the situation. At least this way it won't take up a ton of space on my hygienist's counter :) The listing clearly shows it is 4.8" x 4", just the pictures might appear larger. Clean cuts on outside edge, clean writing, decent base. Highly recommend if the size works for you. Hoping it will put a smile on my hygienist.

It is very cute but much smaller than i expected. Font must be size 5, need glasses to read. Font not consistent. Some words are larger than the other.

We don’t exactly think to thank a dentist for making our health complete. Mine is awesome. He has really turned around potential dental disaster. I wanted him to have a pleasant gift, one more long lasting than a card. It has sturdy glass, and a level wood stand. The words are good humored and sincere. It was a well received item!

This tiny plaque would make a great gift for your favorite dentist. It comes in two pieces, and the scent of the pine wood base is very pleasant when you open the box.I especially like the sentiment, and the lettering is clear and legible.Given that this piece is about the size of a card-holder, I wish the manufacturer's would consider adapting it a bit for that purpose. As it is, it could easily be swallowed up on a busy professional's desk. My two cents!
