Nice looker, terrible cooker!
Cute looking certainly, has the lid, adjustable air-vents and chimney to regulate temperature, flaring and smoke. Ideal? Might have been if designed properly but it's actually hopeless. Worst design possible! Because there are huge gaps where the lid doesn't fit and remains open to the air even when closed. See 1st photo: the lid is much bigger than the bottom part, it overhangs and lets air in. I blocked that by gluing wood to prevent air intake - to no avail! Because see photos 2 & 3: the entire back of the lid overhangs the base! A huge gap which allows air in uncontrolled. What's the point of the chimney lid and adjustable air vents when the whole thing is open at the side and all along the back. Result?: flames flaring, no control of temperature, BURNT FOOD! This is a masterpiece of dreadful design! Worst ever.
