I needed to reroute several cables in my attic, including Cat6, security, and garage sensor wiring. This punch-down tool made the job much easier than I expected. It’s simple to use, does what is expected, and saved me a lot of time. Highly recommended.

A 110 blade punch down is not going to cut off the wire ends. That might work if you cut the ends off with small wire cutters. I bought this because I have the Krone tool.

Not compatible with 110 punch tool. The lugs are to wide to fit a 110 punch down.

Use these to splice a long run of cat five wire. I accidentally broke the wire when digging a trench it would be impossible to rerun this particular wire as it goes through a finished area of the faulted ceiling. This device allowed me to splice the end and add some new wire.

You need the punch down tool with this for best results.

Worked as intended

Our dog chewed through our Ethernet cable so we ordered this to fix. The connection works just as well as buying a new cable! Easy to install took maybe 20 minutes at most. The box looks great and is holding up perfectly.

When I read the negative reviews, I said to myself, how bad can it actually be? It’s just a simple punch down! I have every conceivable punch down tool and I’ve worked with dozens of different ethernet connectors and never had a problem I couldn’t solve with a little ingenuity(I told myself because it was late at night, and I needed them in the morning ) I should not have listened to myself Don’t waste your money and time. Amazon allows easy returns and I will drop mine off at Whole Foods later today. But in the meantime, do not even begin to think about buying this, no matter how good you think you are let me put it in simpler terms, these do not work or for those of you with advanced degrees like me, no worky! I’m sure these are sold by very nice people and I wish them well, but not with this useless piece of plastic.
