Needed something cheap and quick to cover some spots in the house. Home improvement stores charge a whole lot more for a whole lot less. These got the job done, and if you have textured walls already, these are even better for the job!

Used these to paint shelving and they perform well when used in conjunction with good quality paint.

I have used numerous small Bates paint rollers, and overall, very satisfied. They should be considered as "throw away" rollers after use, however, for the price, I believe they are worth buying. The small size is convenient for the narrow sections near trim, as well as painting the trim, and in some areas where the standard size roller is inconvenient.The negative points I have noticed are although durable, don't expect to paint an entire room with three or four rollers, or a large section of wall. Obviously, a good quality, large roller is the way to go for the best results, and these small rollers likely would never, or rarely be used by most contractors, however, they do serve a purpose in certain situations.Also, in a few instances, the holes in the rollers are not consistent. I have had some rollers where the hole for the included paint roller was drilled too large, so, the roller would simply slide off the paint roller arm, making it unusable.The rollers have been effective for my purposes, and have assisted greatly in painting certain sections of walls and trim over several thousand sq. feet. within the last few months.

Love these, great amount, easy to use, easy to clean, very strong, the amount of rollers for price is amazing, will definitely buy again if needed

The small size rollers are nice when using several different colors of paint

I’ve been painting cinder blocks and stepping stones. Having a plethora of rollers was essential. I thought I’d go through them fast but they really wore well and held paint wonderfully. What an excellent price. I’m thoroughly pleased.

i had a few areas that the 9in roller will not fit. this works out nice under some windows were i would have to use a brush this roller put the paint on just like the full size roller. tops of some windows it was to wide. if you push to hard it sometimes slides. less pressure and it rolled and worked good. used on latex paint and just slide it off to trash and put a new one on and ready for next job.

said they were for smooth surfaces and they are NOT. they are for textures but even then, they shed soooo bad in my paint. luckily i was cautious and noticed right away and was able to wipe the paint off and start over with new rollers
