This is an amazing scanner that out performs other scanners I have used costing thousands more. Close and far ranges make it one of the most versatile scanners for high end hobby/professional work. Very well made and presented. The software is amazingly user friendly with on board image processing or connected to a PC with revoscan installed. Can scan some dark models well enough. Battery lasts about 2 hours on a full charge or use the power pack that is available. Highly recommended.

This is just what I needed, took a couple of days to understand how to use it (lack of detail or holes in the earlier scans) but now one of my best buys so far, scan to print in almost no time

The scanner arrived with a lot of accessories and it looked good. But it was very difficult to scan with this device. It was keep loosing track, it couldn’t deal with simple changes (loosing the forehead when scanning someone’s head), used some of the dots on a bike frame but still was struggling. I tried it on sunlight, indoors with plenty of light and with directed light. Still didn’t work well. I sent it back and kept using my 8 year old photogrammetry scanner.

Great item. Software is a pig though.

This is an excellent little device and would wholeheartedly recommend this over an alternative. It's able to scan small to medium sized objects AND medium to large objects capturing colour data too. While being fully self contained. Most over scanners can only manage one size range, so you may require 2. Also every other scanner I found needs to be connected to a computer to function. When I need to scan something I have to just grab one device about the size of a digital camera and that's it. It can be processed and refined on the device, or it can be wirelessly sent to a pc to do it while you scan another object. Another scanner would mean I have to connect it to my phone, or bring a reasonably decent laptop with me and likely be getting tangled in wires. This is just so much more convenient. It did take some practice but after a few tries I started getting really good results and when comparing the models to the real objects, they seem dimensionally accurate. If they aren't, the error is so small I can't physically measure it so for my uses they are perfect. Is it perfect? No. It struggles with black and metallic objects but that's honestly my only complaint with the scanner, but I don't think that's the Miraco’s fault as almost all scanners struggle with those kinds of objects. I'm in the UK and while the charger works fine,it requires an EU to UK adapter (the adapter is included) and annoyingly the adapter doesn't fit in the case but it can be charged with a usb-c so phone charger, it just takes a bit longer. These are literally my only complaints with it and besides that it would be perfect. The only other thing I would like to see would be an option to use it as a normal digital camera, maybe having it take a few photos during the scan, but that doesn't affect how it functions and just something I think could be added in an update to make it even more useful.

El escaner es excelente, solo que la publicidad está exagerada hay un proceso de preparación de lo que escanearas y de limpieza de la imagen después de escanearlo, la batería se va demasiado rápido no tarda dos horas como dicen, y en mi caso aún no lo he podido conectar al PC en modo PC, tengo un reporte y me han atendido bien pero aún no hay solución. Cuando solucionen seguro cambiaré mi calificación. Escaner excelente mi opinión es la misma de arriba, solo cambio el que ya tiene conexión con mi PC, excelente servicio al cliente solo falta de habla hispana :)

Truly an amazing 3D scanner that exceeds my expectations for the ideal best 3d scanning devices! The ease of use is fantastic - no computer connection required, operating it is as simple as using a camera. It's a huge improvement over any other 3D scanner I've purchased before. The all-in-one design is perfect for beginners. I've shown this 3D scanner to friends, and they can start scanning right away. Not needing a computer makes it so convenient. I hate how previous 3D scanners I bought could only be used with my graphics workstation. Having to move it back and forth was a big hassle. And I didn't want to buy a high-end laptop just for the scanning purpose. This best 3D scanner can handle small objects like screws and coins all the way up to very large equipment. It captures impressive detail and texture in every scan. The scanning speed is very fast, producing high accuracy 3D models even for complex objects. The precision is great - the strawberry scan I did came out looking amazing. I've been happy with the several Revopoint best 3D scanners I own, but the MIRACOR blows them away. The color reproduction is superb too - a 1 minute scan can capture a realistic person portrait. I often take it with me to scan large sculptures and machinery onsite. The portability makes it so easy to use. The software supports advanced point cloud/mesh editing functions like noise reduction, hole filling, mesh optimization etc., which impressed me a lot as well. One suggestion I have is to add cloud storage integration. That would make it convenient to access scanned data anytime, anywhere : )
