Beautifulproduct that is easy to use
This is the carbonator for those who are trying to avoid plastic in their diet. It is extremely simple to operate and makes very fine bubbles that stay in the water in the glass bottle for a long time. The whole family loves it. The one thing they could do to improve this is to give the option of connecting a 5 or10 pound CO2 cylinder instead of buying the small refills from them.

Super chic, but flawed design
I used to have the plastic model which worked great but overtime. Those bottles became dingy. These glass bottles look great always and are very easy to clean. the carbonator is attractive but within two months it has already broken.there is an internal mechanism that raises the carbonation chamber. this has broken and wont raise to the start position. awaiting response from aarke on a replacement/warranty service.

Best carbonator.
This thing is the bomb. It puts the Sodastream glass version to absolute shame. The mechanism works better. It carbonates better and there is generally less fighting with it as there is with the soda stream.

OK but look forward to a better model
bought it because I wanted glass bottle instead of plastic- but then 2 months later they issue a steel bottle for the cheaper sleeker model !- very stylish which is good because it takes up a lot of space and stands out visually. There really seems no justification for charging $350 just to inject CO2. And they include a cloth to mop up the leakage after each use. Probably it's too costly to design a safe home use model for injecting CO2 under pressure into a sealed glass bottle.- so the customer has to clean the spill over.

It looks great and works really well!
I've used it 5 times so far and I love it! I did a bit of research before this purchase and I'm very happy with the results. The machine itself is beautiful and looks great on the counter.I would say that you have to "press and hold" to hear the buzzing sound of the water being carbonated. The reservoir in the bottom to collect water that spills is quite nice...it does come in handy.I would recommend flavoring your water after carbonating it. I'm buying a second bottle!

Stopped working properly after 5 months, but only temporarily
Our Aarke Pro no longer locks over the bottle. Will update after contacting customer service.Update: Aarke asked for a video of the problem and then offered to replace the unit since it was under warranty. Oddly enough, the unit started working properly again, latching properly over the bottle. Not sure if I will replace the unit now.

Very disappointed
This carbonated is NOT worth the money. The mechanism that locks the bottle in place failed after 3 months. I’m going to just buy a Soda Stream which is much cheaper and proven to work. Avoid the trouble I went through wi try the Aark and do the same.

Best to help alcoholics
As a previous drinker, it's more then just the drunkeness that's the draw. It's the crispness of a beer on a warm day, or the crisptness of a hard selter. This replicates the experience and is a huge part of what got me to stop drinking all the time. Ask your guy what flavors he wants you get him, and then give him more to try. He'll find one that takes his mind off alcohol while he's in the moment. Try it and it would be great to see these reviews turn into success stories.
