Over the last few years seen many caravans on the road fitted with towing covers and always thought I can't ever see me going to that much effort with my caravan.However I do always like to make sure our caravan is as clean as can be before we go away with it and countless times driven miles with it only to drive over a road where the cows have crossed just before the site and end up with a van which looks filthy.Brought this defender model as it looked value and with good reviewsFits our Swift Major 6 perfect and the front marker lights are visible at the bottom so haven't fitted the battery lightsFits easy after the initial fitting and can just about do it on me own but a second person makes the job much easier.Use it every time I tow the van and after several journeys this year the cover is still in good condition and never come undone whilst in transit which was one of my initial concerns.Removes in less than a min and I am really pleased with my choice of the defender.

I got this front cover to protect my caravan over the winter months, rain snow frost and bright sunlight. I know you are not supposed to use whilst in “storage” but for me is excellent protecting my caravan. It is sturdy, well made and fits snuggly staying in place despite some very adverse weather. Would I use it whilst towing probably despite not having used one in 20years of towing. The wee pockets for the lights would work fine it is easy to click off the buckles either for access to locker or to check underneath. Overall I can fully recommend it and why pay more ?

I bought this for my 8ft wide caravan three years ago and it fits width wise ok. My criticism of this cover is that it doesn’t fit all the way to the bottom around the A frame. Within a short period of time the securing strap that goes underneath the draw bar a frame snapped. Not the end of the world but not the best start. The other issue that I had was that the securing straps to the sides are long and if like me you do not secure them on my first journey they flap against the caravan body and leave black marks that are extremely difficult to remove. Once I had learnt this I would tie them on themselves to stop this happening. The quality of the material has been good but after three years the cover has ripped beside one of the straps as the material has degraded and lost it’s strength. This was probably my fault as I have had the cover fitted constantly for the three years even when not towing. I understand now that this should only have been fitted when towing. Conclusion is that it is of reasonable quality for the price that you pay, be careful with the straps on the caravan bodywork and it’s okay if you are on a budget. I am now going to spend the extra money and replace this with a custom made one.

I purchased this as a prevention rather than cure approach. I’d prefer to arrive at my destination without the van covered in much or stone chipsIt’s an Adria Adora van and the cover fits well. The 8ft cover was too big. The 7ft doesn’t quite wrap around the edges but it does fit well and that more important.Fitting was easy enough. I did this on my own. One tip. I did use some masking tape under the top straps to prevent them sliding done the rails while I got each side tightened up.Looks well and I’m interested to see how it helps on our first trip out. Bought the co ordinating hitch cover too. Same great quality and looks smart

Our caravan is getting old now, and I've recently had to replace a front window which had delaminated - and they're not cheap. Realising that the two side windows could delaminate and suddenly fly apart while travelling we decided that a front cover would be a good, safe option. After much research, including covers costing £200+ we settled on this one. Less than £50, delivered next day, and when we received it we couldn't believe how sturdy it was. Thoroughly clean and dry the front of the van (to avoid scratching), then had it fitted and tensioned in 20 minutes or so. Once the mounting straps are adjusted it can be fitted or removed by one person in less than 10 minutes. Sits firmly on the front of the van when on the move and doesn't shift around at all. Material and straps all appear of good quality, and it only weighs a couple of kilos in its travel bag. No regrets at all

Really good product and protects the caravan well.

Before I got this I read some of the reviews and was not sure, worried it was too cheap and the straps would come out however it went all the way to France and back with no issues. It's pretty easy to put on, you have to pay attention to the straps, wrapping the loose end away and some of these can start to work lose, its not an issue as long as you adjust each time you stop. We had some small black die marks at the very bottom from the cover, hardly noticeable, this is why I have removed one star, I think the die or ink used in the material could be improved a bit. Other than that it was a great product at the price point.
