Some products just knock it out of the park. They’re so good you can’t give them less than 5 stars. This is one of those. I was afraid it wouldn’t be bright enough, or that it would be that gross “Daylight” bluish color that so many LED lamps produce. I was worried that it would tip over. Or that it wouldn’t be well-made.If you’re worried about these kinds of things, stop worrying. This is your lamp. I bought it for my Steinway Model D, which I practice many hours each day. I needed a REALLY good light that didn’t leave me uncomfortable in any way. This is it. It’s so much better than I imagined that I’m not the least concerned about what I paid for it. It’s a beautiful, soft, bright light that is NOT blue. it won’t tip over without a pretty good pull, but if you position it over your keyboard, with the base straddling the front piano leg (bass clef side), nobody will be tipping it, anyway. But the lamp base is heavy enough to keep it easily upright. The lamp is extremely well made. You do the final assembly with about 8 bolts, but they go in easily because they are well engineered. You can tell as you assemble it that it’s not cheaply made. Everything fits. Everything is solid. The whole lamp feels solid once you’ve got it assembled. And don’t worry about assembly. It’s super easy  — 10 minutes max from time you unbox it. I don’t think you can make a mistake.The dimmer knob is nice. Perfectly positioned high enough not to bump the piano (or desk, or other furniture), it is easily within reach and is very effective. I keep mine at about ¾ brightness most of the time when I’m practicing, and I like a well-lit keyboard and music stand. Take care of your eyes. See clearly what you’re reading. This lamp is worth so much more than the price. 5 STARS, but I’d give it TEN!

Very happy about the purchase. The light is well made and sleek in design. It's very bright and because of its height, you don't feel the brightness coming into your eyes. Great for reading. In my opinion, this light is way better than the desk-mounted reading lights for your eyes. Highly recommend.

I understand why this was expensive. I never knew what a high quality light could do for your eyes. I do work late into the night and found my eyes were hurting my due to the artificial light plus I had 4-5 floor lamps in my room and still never felt the lightening was right. I threw out all my lights as this one is all I need. It mimics natural light very well. The dimming function is awesome as well. I never leaves reviews but I had to for this.

The media could not be loaded. My favorite lamp ever! It's so sleek, and definitely the perfect addition to my office. It was so easy to assemble too! Great looks and design. Easy to put together， It's bright, but you can dim it. Great light quality， I love it!!

Switching this on was like the clouds parting and the rays of dawn breaking through. Or like having a sky light in my ceiling. I’ve never been so impressed by a light before. Definitely better than my stark white or warm yellow office lights. Keeps me cheerful when I work late nights.

I been looking for a good light for grand piano for a long time, this is perfect for it. Feels good for its quality when opened the box. Just wait for a while to see how it’ll last
