The hp victus does technically work great, but is on the very bottom end of what I would put on here for size, the laptop only has maybe 1/4" of an overlap around the sides and back for that gasket, should work just fine in the long run but is the smallest I would comfortably use. I can't say if the smaller unit would line up correctly with the vents or not, but this does work.The2024 16" Lenovo legion slim 5 fits a bit better, vents are clear and we get good airflow.Fan while not exactly quiet, isn't offensive and mostly blends in with background noise and any other fans you may have in the room. I do appreciate having the dust filter. It won't catch anything super fine but will definitely keep out larger guff and animal hair.The hp did see a good few degrees drop in temps with pad set to 1100 rpm. The Lenovo has a better cooler out of box and only saw a couple degrees drop in my work loads, but I don't stress the system so that's not surprising. What this did fix was my system fans randomly ramping up and down as the crap OEM fan control software fails to keep temps consistent. With this cooler I was able to keep my laptop at a steady 70 degrees with a consistent and easy to forget about low hum of noise.It's cheap, and made of plastic but isn't offensive, same as any other laptop cooler pad, but this one actually works, for 80$ only way to make one perform better is to pay allot more money on noctua fans and better materials to make one yourself. Unless you have system fans laying around and the tools to do it, you can't beat this for $80. Will absolutely continue to use this with my laptop.

Amazing. Laptop was thermal throttling at 80c. Put it on this and temps dropped to 55-60c at 600 rpm which is reasonably quiet (only slightly louder than the laptop fans). Could crank the fans to max for slightly more cooling, but it does get quiet loud at max.I did end up replacing the thermal paste/pads on my laptop, which brought by baseline temps down to 70-75c. However I will still keep this to help improve the longevity of the laptop as at low rpm/noise it will drop the temps to 55c.The one downside is it is large and bulky with a dedicated power adapter. So not great for mobile gaming, but if you are gaming at a desk and only occasionally at other locations it is amazing.

The cooler does what it's supposed to and does a very good job of cooling the laptop. As many others have stated it's very loud when in use at anything over 600 rpm. Rpm speed is adjustable from 300 to 2800 rpm. I think for a cooler with an aux USB ports the price is overpriced. It comes with 1 extra air filter and a very large mouse pad and a 1 year warranty. I would expect this to last much longer than a year and I could find no available options to buy replacement filters or the top sealing foam. Attempted contact to the seller through Amazon didn't get any reply. You might get a better result through a customer support email so write it down before you throw the box it came in as it's not shown on the single page documentation with directions.My computer sits pretty far forward over the front when sealing the cooling holes and I found it would have been better if the on/off had been lighted. Touching for 2 seconds turns the cooler on and off.This is a 120V powered cooler and isn't one that you can power with a laptop USB port.My biggest concern is if the top foam seal gets torn with no option for replacement the unit could be next to useless unless you are handy enough to craft a replacement.

Absolutely fantastic product. I was worried about gaming on my laptop due to the heat it generated. I have a gaming laptop (Asus Zephyr) and it can handle newer games but I am also aware that any heat slowly degrades the thermal paste and puts wear on the laptop. This fan is amazing!! I can watch it drop the temperature of my system by over 40 degrees in a matter of minutes. Depending on the game I am playing, this fan is capable of dissipating all of the heat generated, leaving my laptop cool to the touch. The heat will be pushed into your surrounding room so be sure to have plenty of air circulation in your gaming room. Solid construction from quality materials, this fan is admittedly more expensive than others out there but it is WORTH the investment.

I bought this a week ago for when I travel for work. I'm currently in Des Moines and it works great. Clearly I didn't read the full description because I was pleasantly surprised by a full width keyboard and mouse pad and it's looks pretty cool (a planet with light shining on the top of the planet, showing the curve as it disappears in the blackness of space). It's also pretty quiet and the airflow is good too.

I have a Gigabyte gaming laptop with a Nvidia 3060 12gb video card and 48gb of ram. I used to prop it up and blow a fan under it to force more air into the laptop. It worked ok, but not a good as this laptop cooler does. The hot air blowing out the sides of the laptop can get really hot with demanding games. The laptop cooler reduced the temperature of the hot air by quite a bit. I love the fan speed roller and usually only have to run it at 1000 for most games. It also has an intake dust filter that you can clean.I recently added new thermal paste on the CPU and GPU to make sure those chips were being cooled properly. I am using a 27 inch 144 hz external monitor, a clicky keyboard and a nice mouse with my laptop.I highly recommend this laptop cooler unit.

This cooler has been just about perfect for my docked alienware m17 r3 pc setup. Only a little bit of the vent holes underneath are covered up by the foam. Has done a great job of cooling down the computer during gaming and video editing. Easy to adjust the fan speed. My only gripe is that the power button is a bit difficult to turn on and off, especially in the dark. Overall great product.
