As a pale girl with strawberry skin, I never could tan and always wondered what I'd look like with a tan. I have no regrets with this product, only that I wish I had taken the time to read more about prepping haha. Thankfully I was able to lighten the built up areas in the shower with a wash cloth.I got the light to medium color and so glad I did, it fits me quite nicely I think.So, the uneven spots and streakiness I can blame myself for, totally user error. Fear not though, because there's enough in this kit and bottle for multiple applications so you can practice and perfect your technique.I like that it's a clear foam, but also kinda hate that because it's hard to see where you've already applied.There is a pleasant smell which surprised me because I see a lot of reviews under other self tanners about a bad smell. Not this one! Smells lightly of coconut.My key takeaways for you all- PREP. PRACTICE YOUR PREP, YOUR APPLICATION. Taking it off is a lot easier than trying to evenly apply the following day.

I’ve always been scared to try a tanning mousse and finally got up the courage to finally try one!! Granted, there’s quite a bit of spots that are streaky or lighter than the rest but it’s 100% on me, as I said I’ve never used one before, this was my first time so it’s not on the product itself, it’s my fault. But I love how easy this is to apply, next time I’ll do it a bit slower to make sure I don’t miss any spots. And it smells really good too which is something I was worried about. I also love how buildable it is, in the picture I only have one coat on and in person it is a bit light, but because it’s buildable all I have to do is reapply it. I’m never getting a spray tan again, I’m just going to continue to use this instead!! I wish I could give it 10 stars because it’s a 10/10 product !!

I was so excited to try this product based on multiple reviews saying it didn't smell. That's always been my deterent from using self tanners because I don't Iike the smell that only gets worse as it processes. Hard to describe the smell other than dirty burning skin...all self tanners seem to have this same smell and this product no different. Was super bummed about that after many said it smelled good or not at all. Nope, still stinks! Hence 4 stars instead of 5 for smell only.But with that said I really love how this product applies evenly. The foam and glove keep it from getting streaky or going on uneven. Also don't feel like I have to avoid joints like knees and elbows as this product doesn't over process in those areas leaving them noticeable darker and unnatural looking. All joints were applied the same and no odd over processing. The tan is natural looking and not orange. Make sure not to get the palms of your hands and feet, accidentally got one palm and it was kinda orange.This is the first self tanner I've ever tried on my face as that's obviously the most noticeable area and I'm always freaked about it getting streaky and orange. But I think the glove and foam help the application go on flawlessly. Made sure to take my time and go over eye areas around ears so no spots were missed and my face looks like I spent hours in the sun.I got the mid-dark which gave me a decent glow after 1 application, that's one application in my picture. But because you can build with more applications you can get darker, I'm really pale so I ended up doing 2. I might get the extra dark next time so I only need to apply and deal with the smell once and done. I do like the current shade for my face so it looks more natural. Right now it's a couple days of this smell and multiple showers. It takes two showers and lots of soap to rid your body of the smell....and maybe I'm just hyper sensitive to smells, but I hate the smell of self tanners.I'm 46 years old and I've tried to take good care of my skin but definitely haven't been great about using spf on my body as I like to be tan in the summer. But it's time to get with reality that I shouldn't do that. As you get older you start to regret sun damage and not much you can do about it when it's done. So having a good self tanner, even stinky, is better than frying my skin in the sun to have a healthy glow and not look like white death. Lol all in all I recommend this product and I'll order again. Just beware of the smell and apply early in the day so you can shower at least twice. I hate my bed smelling like this so it needs to he gone before I climb in bed. But if you want a nice healthy glow that isn't filled with chemicals this is a great product.

I love this self tanning mouse - it really gives me such a nice glow. I especially love the clean ingredients and that it doesn't leave any streaks on my white clothing. 10/10 - this is the only self tanner I'll ever use!!

It’s just okay. I have used Vita Liberata generally as my go-to ‘clean’ tanner but I figured I’d try this one. First things first - IT STINKS. Like really really stinks. I just put on the two hour Loving Tan and there was basically zero smell compared to this stuff. That is enough for me to say I won’t buy it again. The color is fine but not great. It’s just meh. Again, the stench. It’s awful. Like it burns the nostrils. Vita Liberata is much nicer color and the smell is way easier to tolerate as well. Same price point and similar ingredients too.

i honestly really like this product. i was unsure at first because i couldn’t tell if i was tan or not. but the next day it came gradually and very nice. i love this product for slowly giving me the golden glow i want.

This is the best tanning foam I have ever used. The color is so natural and I have people comment all the time about how great my tan looks. I have given all of them the link to order. Just ordered my second bottle.

Overall, I really liked this self tanner! It goes on clear, which I was a little scared of since that can make it hard to tell if it's even. However, it ended up not streaky at all, which I was impressed with! I also loved the mitt it came with! I did two layers to get this color. I do wish it was a little darker as I got the "extra dark" one. It felt so light on my skin and I didn't feel sticky/dirty like so many self tanners make me feel. Overall, I really liked it especially since it has natural ingredients and doesnt feel sticky!

writing a review from a redhead POV... because if youre like me then these type of things can be really hit or miss as any hint of orange is very obvious. i also have normal to dry sensitive skin.for me it didnt smell like usual self tanner, it was pleasant.i exfoliated/shaved in the shower about 15min before. i also put moisturizer on my ankles/toes/hands/face/elbows because the orange lol.i love how it looks overall. it's not orange (i am very pale with light freckles) on me and im happy for that. it did collect a bit still on my feet and ankles..even with the moisturizer. i used my diamond buffer to get rid of that. it was a bit more orange on my face than anywhere else, but i haven't showered yet and i can wear powder to blend that. i didnt have any reactions to the product either.sooo i think this is a winner for redhead situations.lol

Haven’t had any issues with streaking, even without exfoliating first. I do put a bit of lotion around the knees, elbows and ankles to avoid the tanner collecting in those areas.It does smell like self-tanner as it’s processing but it’s not awful.It doesn’t collect around small mild psoriasis patches either, which is great.

Very high quality product. Doesn’t have the smell of other tanners. A little goes a long way.
