Fun Lego helicopter
This was a good value for the money. Assembly was simple and took a decent amount of time. We enjoyed all of the inductions and the durable pieces.

Amazing Lego Set
I bought this for my younger siblings, and they loved it. Surprisingly, the toy remained intact after the intense play sessions with their other toys. (I'm Keeping them very anonymous.)Along with that, it was easy to build and with clear instructions.

I've been in the Lego 'game' for about 35 years now...
... and this is one of the stronger small helicopters I've ever seen. For starters, it's robust - there are no pieces or components that are hanging on by a thread. Everything here is very rigid, very drop-resistant, and has a function.Second, the shaping is nice. This set incorporates a number of brand-new or almost-new molds that really lend some sleek lines to the vehicle. But, unlike most City sets, there are a lot of brick-built elements, too (more than you would expect). For example, the landing skids are all built-up as opposed to being a single part. I can't remember the last time I built skids for a Lego helicopter - maybe the early 90s?Finally, there are a number of small-but-excellent play features and nods to anticipated play patterns. For example, there are seats for both the pilot and the rescue jumper - the jumper isn't, like, hanging on the edge or expected to cling to a door handle or something. But not only that - the jumper's seat ACCOMODATES HER BULKY BACKPACK. You don't have to disrobe her to get her into her seat. That's... very high-level stuff; not something you used to see from Lego. And, while the winch cannot change sides as a function of the model (there is no internal girder system like they might use on a real rescue chopper to slide it through the interior to redeploy), there are pin holes on both sides of the frame to house it, thus allowing line retrievals to be conducted from either side simply by popping the assembly out and in.Overall, I am just really impressed here. Sometimes Lego misses badly - especially with the stuff intended for younger audiences. But this really feels like a set that was designed by one of their more 'crack' teams (like the people who have been working on Friends for the last decade).

Amazing set for the price.
I have been collecting Lego sets, especially the Helicopter and Aircraft ones for about fifty years. It is not often to find a really good one for an amazing price, most of them are just over priced. This helicopter set is a really nice set, I don't remember one this nice at this low a price, sub twenty dollars, ever. This would make an awesome gift for anyone that loves Lego or collects them. It is a fairly easy build, it looks very realistic as far as Legos go, and I am sure kids would love to fly it around the house; hell I want to and I am fifty three. Looks great in my office with some of my other rescue choppers. Get it, you won't regret it, it is a no brainer.

Easy to make!
Easy to make for a 6 year old, and fairly robust and secure for play. This Lego helicopter is larger than a police helicopter we have.
