Look real
I love these fake rocks. They are used to cover stumps. Since we live in a wooded area that has some big rocks, these look real and help decorate our yard.

Blends into the landscaping
When rebuilding my sprinkler system, I raised the valves above ground level, because in Florida, sand is ever pervasive. A couple of side by side orbit valves in the lawn are unsightly however, and I REALLY don't want to plant a bush where they are.Enter, the fake rock.I hammered a partial fencepost in-between the valves in case of accidental run-over, and placed this over them. They are hidden, protected, and the rock although clearly fake, is not hideous to look at (as opposed to the valves).I was concerned about the inside dimensions, but it's walls are rigid and not too thick, so it fit great.Hope this helps.

Nice, but slightly different color
Nicely made and fairly realistic looking, but I thought it would be more like reddish sandstone color from the photos. It’s more sand and granite colored, but still nice.

Different dimensions than what's advertised!
Amazing! This is my third fake rock (three different companies) and it looks great! I got the sandstone one (provided a closeup in the pics). One thing to note, I got the small even though I wasn't sure it would fit. However, it turned out to be larger than expected with enough room for what I needed to cover. The dimensions on the sticker on the rock do not match the dimensions in the Amazon description. The sticker dimensions are exactly what I needed and so it works perfectly!!Read the sticker dimensions and then order 😁

Very realistic, especially when surrounded by real rocks of a similar color
I ordered this fake rock to hide an unsightly backflow preventer in my front yard. This rock fit over the pipes with a little room to spare, and I secured it to the ground with the included wire stakes, plus a couple more heavy-duty anchors that I had in my garage. It is now held tightly to the ground and should be able to withstand the high winds prevalent in this area. To make it look even more realistic, I added several smaller rocks (real rocks) of the same color and texture around the fake rock. Now, it is virtually impossible to know that the rock is hollow and not real.

Great 'rock' for the price!
I was a bit skeptical considering this artificial rock was so inexpensive compared to some of the ones I've seen at local garden shops; however, I am very happy with my purchase. We were trying to cover a post that contained an electrical outlet and lots of unsightly wires and this looked like it would fit the bill. We did have to turn the rock a so it's a bit off-kilter but it looks great. The we shoved the wires inside after setting the rock somewhat in place and, so far, everything is working just fine. The rock itself is sturdy and will certainly provide protection from the weather. Since the ground where the rock sit is a bit uneven, I did have to get creative with placing some real rocks around the base but that only added to the 'realistic' look. (Note: Someone commented on the sticky label on the rock. Didn't have a problem with it on the rock but I accidentally placed the label on my granite counter top and had to get Goop Off to release it!! Kind of 'overkill' on the label adhesive I think.) One thing ... there are little stakes you're supposed to hook onto the rock and then anchor in the ground but there are no holes in the rock so the stakes are pretty useless.
