This wonderful little basketball arrived partially deflated. I had a pump on hand and it did not take much time to get it up to speed. It has the recommended pressure written on the ball, so I went for 8 lbs of pressure. It didn’t seem to bounce well, so I upped it to 9 lbs.It’s ok at 9 lbs, still doesn’t bounce as high as I like. However this is a heavy weight ball designed to improve your game, so I figure I’m just supposed to put a bit more effort into my bounce.It is also a size 6, which I haven’t tried before. It works much better for my smaller adult hands. And, I like the 2.2 lbs. When I go back to another size ball, I now find it much easier to work with.So, all-in-all, this is an excellent addition to my collection!!

This basketball is weighted (1 kilogram/2.2 lbs) for strength training and developing dribbling skills. Works exactly as designed. Can be used inside or outside on a multitude of different floor surfaces. It has good balance and a non-skid surface. It is initially a bit difficult to get used to as it takes a surprising amount of force to dribble a weighted ball but its fantastic for training because of this. It is shipped deflated so you will need a pump and a needle to fill it. I was initially concerned due to it being an unknown brand and the price being quite low but the quality and durability is actually great, Well worth purchasing.
