I’m so glad I got this but because I didn’t want to spend more money to buy the pot I had to hope that one of mine would work. I have many pots and luckily I did find ONE. I bought this in the large size first. Given that experience I also bought the small size but also got the pot to avoid the size issue. All that being said I love them and they are so much easier to use than the kind that you open and they fit any pot. They don’t last and are an effort to thoroughly clean.

I own a full set of Caraway pans which I've found to be of excellent quality and safe and a breeze to clean. I was expecting their steamer insert to bee of equal quality and it didn't disappoint. Definitely worth it.

Since I already own the Carraway set, which I absolutely love, I needed something for steaming, as I didn’t want to use one of those universal steam tulips that rest on the bottom of the pot to minimize any scratching. 2 seconds of research and I came across this to add to the set. Perfect for the 6.5 qt pot. Also comes in what feels like a storage bag so I’m saving it and storing it away in that. Already used it for veggie sides. Love it.

Used it to steam Bairdi crab from Alaska. Fit to a T.
