I recently got the EnerGel RTX Retractable Liquid Gel Pen set, which includes three pens in red, pink, and coral. I have a set of these EnerGel pens already, and I opt to use them over lots of my other pens. But, my red got stepped on and totally broke; my pink got lost, so I wanted replacements; and this 3pk is perfect!

I love these pens, I usually always go for the extra/ultra fine point if I can find them, I don't know why, but I always loved a fine line. Anyway, these pens are the same as all the other EnerGel pens I have purchased in the past. These are in a Red, Pink, and Salmon color pallet, which is a nice change to my typical blue, black, and purple favorites.The issue I have always run into with these pens, is that the hard clear plastic, right above the rubber finger rest, is a weak point for the pen. Every one of these pens that I have purchased has inevitably cracked in that same spot, and I have to tape the pen so that I can continue to use the pen for the entire ink supply (I hate throwing out nice pens). I have only marked it down one star for this, because I have learned how to continue using the pens over the years. However, like a silly person, I keep coming back to these pens because of how smoothly and thin a line they write. I just hope that one day they will consider moving their threaded connection point away from one of the stress points on the pen, or reinforcing it with metal, then the casing might actually survive for the life of the pen.

I'm picky about pens, even my everyday ones. Currently, Energels are my favorite. They write smoothly and the ink flows out evenly with good coverage. Colors are generally vibrant, which is why I wanted this pack. that does come at the cost of them not seeming to last as long as some of the other popular brands, but that does not mean that they don't last a good while. I don't see anything on the horizon to dethrone Energel as my go to daily pen.

As a high school teacher, I use a lot of red ink. <grin> I write a LOT. I like to use a variety of colors (not just red) to write comments on student work. The older I get, the more I "feel" all that writing in my hand. A student gave me EnerGel pens and a candle as a teacher appreciation gift last year. Once I started using the pens, I noticed how comfortable they felt in my hand. Call me crazy, but for whatever reason, I noticed that my hand doesn't get as fatigued when I use these pens as I work. So, when I saw these fun colors (in the red family, ha-ha) I grabbed them. If you want a pen that writes well and helps with hand fatigue, I recommend these EnerGel pens to you.

The Pentel EnerGel RTX pens have consistent ink flow without any instances of skipping or clumping. The 0.7 mm ball works well for my handwriting. Plus, the quick-drying feature makes them ideal for journaling, as I don't have to worry about smudging my pages. The pen is slightly larger than other pens, but the grip provides a comfortable writing experience even for extended periods. This particular set had three colors: Red, Pink and Coral Ink. The ink color samples on the packaging look very similar. But the coral shade stands out because it's so bright and vibrant. I think it makes the actual color look even better. The pen produces a noticeable sound when clicked. In a quiet setting it might be considered a tad too loud.

I absolutely love these pens. They write so smooth and the colors are so vibrant! Great price for these. I love that you can get many colors and they are so affordable. There is not another brand of pen I recommend more than this one!

The gel ink from these pens are really smooth. This gel ink dries really quickly so it really doesn't smear if you rub over your writing.My son is left handed and these are really great for him. He always complains about using ink pens because they smear all over the side of his palms. These pens are now his favorite because he says his hands stay clean!The colors are really nice. The rubber grip also had a really nice feel in your hands.
