Terrific candles!
I am absolutely thrilled with the battery operated candles. They really do have a primitive look. One of them had the coating fall off on the bottom when inserting the candle into the candle holder. It's not a big deal because I can't see it. Otherwise, I'm so happy with the look of them. They're not bright enough to light up an area, but they work great for providing ambiance.

Very hot!!!!
After I put the batteries in i laid them on my couch. I picked one up and it was VERY hot and the wax melted at the top around the light. (It only took seconds for this to occur.) 2 other ones were melting and the wax got on my couch ( 😡 I am very upset with these I do not recommend !!!!!!!!

Rustic look
Nice and very western, cabin style, rustic. Wish they were remote control. Only one did not work.

I love these candles
These candles are wonderful — they look so old I hope you will carry them for a long time.

Disappointed
The quality control is very lacking with this product. The wax coating was melted, cracked and it easily chips off when handled. Regarding the timer function, the 6 hours begin when you tighten the cap at the bottom. To change the time period, you need to loosen then re-tighten it and a new 6 hour period will begin. And that seems to work pretty well. The flame is not at all bright but it’s pretty and more for setting a mood I think. If they wouldn’t have arrived in such poor shape I would have kept them but, back thy go.

They don’t turn on most of the time unless you reset them.
