A lot of the colors can be found in open water and 'hard' water season. BUT these have an added bonus - part of the paint scheme glows in the dark - under water - where the fish can use that to find the lure.Advantage?? most of the times, giving the fish what they want adds up to more of those fish being caught.So, if you just like to sit out on the ice and enjoy the scenery, don't bother getting these. But, if you are interesting in getting some fish to bite, give these a try. I think you will find they will result in more bites.

The color and variety are great. Can confirm that they glow in the dark. Hooks are pretty small to be walleye hooks, as was claimed in the description. I measured and would put them at a #7, which is fine for panfish and perch. For walleye fishing, I would look for something bigger, like a #2.

I ordered the 30 pack of jigs, and I can confirm that they all glow in the dark, and that they have very sharp hooks. These hooks are perfectly sized for the Crappie fishing that I do, as well as Bass, and Walleye. I wouldn't use them for sunfish, as I feel they are to big for that.In my 30 pack, I received 5 different shaped heads, and each shape came in 8 different colors. So this will give you a variety of lures to try when you are fishing.

That being said, I think these will work well for fishing off of the boat, and since they glow, it should be good for early morning or late evening fishing.The colors are good, and the jigs seem sturdy enough. The hooks are pretty sharp, and I won't need to sharpen them before using them like I do with so many others. Overall, I am pleased with these jigs, and expect them to work well. If my review changes once I use them, I will update it.
