The color is true to the ad photos. This chair came quick and we'll packaged. It was a breeze to assemble...I'm nearly 70 and it took me about 10 minutes. The seat cushion is firm and the size is perfect for my small guest bedroom. A great place to put on shoes or cozy up with a good book for some quiet time.

Mrs. Royalcrowncola has been afflicted with a congenital; disorder known as Short Leg Syndrome. They appear long enough for a person of 4' 11" ...but, what do I know.? These chairs are officially accorded the title of "Just Right" for persons afflicted with the same disorder. The chairs are small and seemingly made for short people. Thanks to the solid wood frame, it is rated to hold up to 550 pounds. Of course nobody with a weight of 550 lbs has a bunkus small enough to fit into the chair. The velvet material used for the upholstery is soft and the colors are true to the photo in the description.The Chairs arrived with great fanfare faster than predicted. They were quickly transported to our living room where I was tasked with putting them together. I started with attaching the legs--a simple task requiring almost no skill whatsoever. This was followed by attaching the back rest to the seat. That only took about 1 hour of wrestling (well, not wrestling, but more like UFC match). I had that hummer down to the mat several times and finally pinned it after about 30 minutes. Mrs. Royalcrowncola, ever the one to compound a tragedy, helped my making "suggestions" about how to connect the two pieces together.FUNCTIONALITY: Great as accent chairs in a small living room space. Will hold 550 pounds of weight. Stury wood frame.VALUE FOR MONEY: This is not fine furniture like you would find at the mall. It is mail order good furniture. For the price there is a good value...not to mention the entertainment aspect of watching someone put the back onto the chair.

Warning warning!!! This chair is very small and very hard. I would never purchase this chair. They won’t let you return it! Unless you have the original box and $65-$100 to return it. When the chair only cost $265 it’s not worth it. I will sell it at a garage sale. Or give it to an old people‘s home for free. Don’t buy the chair you’ll regret it.

I bought the blue chair with the ottoman included and I LOVE it. This chair is everything I wished it would be and is so comfortable! The cushion certainly is firm but I like firm so that's not a problem for me. This is a great piece of furniture to lean back into and kick your feet up onto the ottoman to relax. A great gaming chair for console players, in my opinion, especially with the pillow being used as a hand rest on your lamp.I'm 6 months pregnant as of the time of writing this and the box was light enough for me to bring up 12 stairs by myself and get into the house. Assembly took less than 10 minutes on my own and it was ready to be sat in when my husband got home from work.A lot of other people complained in reviews about not being able to secure the back of the chair to the base very easily but I personally didn't have that problem. It took me maybe 2 minutes at most to line up the pieces and get them secured together by myself.Overall, I LOVE this chair. It's been my favorite place to sit since I got it!

I will say it is a very pretty shade of blue. I wish I had room for an occasional chair.First of all the legs, although rapped well, where all scratched up and looked like they had been used before. The chair is pretty enough but it is very tiny. I was picturing it being a full size chair from the pictures. I looked at it for like a month before purchasing it, as well as looked at several pics in reviews. I did measure the space prior to purchasing, but there must be some sort of optical illusion at play here, because for some reason I was picturing it to be larger in the seating area. I’m 5.8” and I have short lower legs. The height of the seat is nice, but the seat and back are much smaller and more shallow than they appear in pictures, even in my pictures. There’s not enough room for both me and the pillow and I’m a fairly generic sized person. I wear between a 32-34 waist pant. I can’t imagine sitting in it for more than 30 minutes or so. I was planning on watching tv or reading books in it, so it will probably need to be returned. I really hate returning things, but I have no space for occasional furniture. This would be a good size chair for a waif thin petite person, or a teen. I expect a wing back chair to be roomie and at least support my shoulders.Update: returning this chair is likely going to be a huge hassle as they do not offer the normal free return labels, which is not normal for Amazon and not indicated in the post. If you are at all on the fence about the size, don’t buy it.

I am in love with this chair and stool! It is so comfortable and soft. The best part was how simple it was to put together!!!
