Queen size Murphy bed - Easy install. The illustration instructions were straight forward. Took 2 people four hours to assemble. We used a 11” thickness mattress & it Works great. We love it.

Easy instructions!!

Purchased for guest bedroom / office. So far very pleased with it. It is particle / pressed wood, but if treated well, will hold up since it is only attached to the bed by the hydraulics. Was not difficult to put together IF you follow step by step directions. It is mostly picture directions, but easy to follow if you take your time. Took 2 of us approximately 8 hours from start to finish. Not rocket science as some have suggested. The color and design are as described in the description. I especially liked this one for the depth of a mattress that will fit. I purchased a 12 inch nectar mattress and between both products I am very happy with my decision.

I love this murphy bed. I found it easy to assemble, but the packages that come are super heavy! My guests love it too. I had some rather large company who together weighed a little over 500lbs. and the bed held. I figured if the quality would be tested, it was then. I did have to make an L shaped board to put at the head of the bed so the pillows don't slide off. I also put decorative pillows over the L board to cover it and make the bed look colorful. If I ever needed another space saver, I'd buy this murphy again.

I would love to review this product, however the instruction book that came with the unit was damaged. I have tried so far for almost a week to get a response back from the manufacturer Bestar, I have used their site email twice, called and waited on hold for 15 minutes to be told their phones are unavailable (during their posted business hours) and trying to setup a callback gets nothing. Tried to download the instruction manual online, however it is unavailable online. This is a very complex assembly to do it correctly, the video does not match my model, and I can't seem to get the Manufacturer to actually respond at all. I will update this review if things change.Update:Well it has been 2 1/2 months and still no responses from the manufacturer. No emails, not replies, no responses of any kind and I still have a pile of parts and no Murphy bed because I can't use the first few pages of the instruction manual to start putting it together.

The media could not be loaded. This Murphy Bed is nice! For the price it is well made. It took a skilled Handy Man (though never doing a Murphy Bed before) seven and a half (7 1/2) hours to assemble. He said on a scale of 1-5, the instructions would be a 3 or 4, and ease of putting together the bed would be 4. He said it wouldn’t be as high for a novice. There were two “L” shaped brackets that the directions showed to put at the base of the bed in the cabinet, but there were not holes to attach them, so we left them out. I am a person that thrives on putting things together. However, I would recommend getting someone with experience (such as a Handy Man/Woman) to do this for you. It is worth the money and headache. The bed is sturdy, easily functional, and looks nice. There were no hiccups in putting it together. It comes in three very tall and heavy (one box was 140 lbs) boxes and they were tough getting upstairs. It came a week earlier than I expected with no damage. I highly recommend this bed and the price!
