An affordable high quality replacement neck
I had to drill new holes to fit my Squier Strat but it fit nice and snug. A few of the fret ends needed some smoothing but the frets are exellent. Real rosewood finger board, real bone nut and I didn't even have to touch the intonation. An improvement in tone and sustain. It adds more mid range. I'm a lefty so it's a reverse head stock. Looks and plays great! I'd buy one again if I needed one. A great replacement neck.07-14 24I would now give it 3 stars for these reasons: Poor fit into neck socket, Had to do a fret job repair because of 4 or 5 high spots, Tuners are too close together, and most important, I doubt it is maple. It added .75lbs.to my Strat. Too heavy and doesn't sound like a Strat. Lowered high sound and big mid's. Great sound if you lean toward humbuckers and overdrive. I'll stick with a maple neck with a rosewood board. It is a good quality neck but not for me.

It’s okay.
Taking in consideration it wasn’t very expensive there were major draw backs to this neck.1- fret 18 was so high that fret 17 not could not be heard when plucked. I spent many hours having to do a fret level and dressing on it.2- nut wasn’t even glued in noticed this when removing the tape from the fret level and the nut came off with the tape.Good parts were the neck arrived straight. Clear coat was decently done. Lots of places though where you could feel it had bumps in it. The color is gorgeous. Tuning holes were proper size. After doing my feet level and dressing and doing the new set up of the guitar it does play beautifully. And is very comfortable to play. But it took a lot of work to do so. Also I did satin the back of the neck with a scratch pad technique as pics may show.I replaced the original neck of a donner 152 Stratocaster with this. That neck had slight rattles and the fret ends weren’t cut very well so it had a slight sharpness to it on the sides even after filing them down. I kinda wish I had just done a fret job on that one instead but what’s done is done. Just expect to put a lot of work into this neck if you get it. Like I said it is a cheap neck.Update: after leaving this review, I was contacted by seller and they wanted to do whatever they could to make it right. They are very pleasant and good to work with. Thank you for being an honest upstanding company :)-Dan

Great neck
I don’t consider this a “cheap neck” I am very appreciative the price though. It fit perfectly on my 80’s super strat body. I had left it to the side because standard fender necks didn’t fit. This neck was a perfect fit at 66mm. Maybe I got lucky on the pocket size, but it’s perfect.Fretwork was more than acceptable for the price point. I will probably change the plastic bit at some point, but it was pre-slotted and just fine. For the price you can’t go wrong. And it’s very good quality. I’m not into building a bunch of guitars, but if I were, I would definitely use these.

Truss Rod issues
It's a beautiful neck to look at, a little rough on the frets but nothing too bad, but when i went to adjust the truss rod it just spins and does nothing, very very disappointing as it looks great. But the quality isn't there sadly since the truss rod is broken.

This product is great for the price!
The media could not be loaded. When I took the guitar neck out of the box, first thing I noticed was the clear coat, it's shine is like glass, no imperfections, the neck is straight, I checked out the frets with the fret rocker, they are all level, installing was a breeze, I would definitely buy again.ĺl

Not half bad for $60!
This is a pretty awesome neck for not a whole lot of money. Gloss finish, rosewood fingerboard, frets aren't sharp at all and the edges are pretty smooth. Giving it 4 stars because it doesn't come pre-drilled and i could see that being a turn off for someone who doesn't know how to drill, however I would imagine most necks probably don't come pre-drilled. Frets 15-22 were decently rough and needed some attention, but if you didn't want to it would probably break in. Overall pretty good product, I would buy again!

Perfect fit
This neck was a perfect fit on an older American Strat body. Finish feels good, frets nicely done, nice fret board. Looking forward to putting my old and abused guitar back together to give it a new life. It was well packed and arrived on time. Will definitely order againAt the time of first review I did not have batteries in my calipers. I recently measured the heal. The neck I received measured at 55.56 mm or 2.187 in wide at the heal. It is very close to that considering the neck has a finish on it.

Great quality for the money.
Very nice neck for this price point. Truss rid functions as it shoukd. Fret work is pretty decent. Will need a little bit of work dine to them to get it 100%. But overall I'm very happy with it.
