For whatever reason, the saniderm they applied at the shop just wasn't liking me and kept getting creases in it that water would leak into when I took a shower. I was tired of having to keep going back to the shop to get it replaced but wanted to have the protection for my new work, so I ordered this to just be able to reapply it at home. It looks just like the name brand one they applied at the shop, but so far I haven't gotten any of those creases in it. Very impressed so far! I'm hoping I can keep this piece on for 4 days, so I'll be sure to update about how it holds up!UPDATE: I kept this on for 4 days and it worked extremely well! Unlike the stuff that they used at the shop, it doesn't start pulling up at the corners easily. It has a bit of a strong smell to it when you first apply it, but simply washing it with soap takes care of that quickly. I got some touch-ups done yesterday and replaced my first bandages with this stuff again at the end of the day, and so far it's going just as well as it did the first time. Very happy with this product!

i really liked this second skin wrap, i just got a new tattoo and im a swim instructor so i have to be in water and it honestly lasted quite a long time. if it weren't for the fact that the tattoo is on the elbow bend i think it would have lasted much longer bc the two sides that weren't on the crease didn't even begin to peel so i can tell its a high quality product, my artist told me that she wouldn't even attempt the second skin due to the placement so the fact that it lasted as long as it did i find quite impressive, will be using again:)

my first time trying the product was really good near perfect the roll was thing and flat, strong grip within three showers help up for proper healing time and easy to sturdy to use worked well ! Def recommend ! Plus you do get freebies when you first order !

FIRST! I did not use this for tattoo aftercare but will review - in case anyone else has this idea.I believe it would be fine for temporary use on a tattoo or other suggested skin uses.However, I was told this specific item was great for repairing a breast prosthesis which had developed a crack (due to movement while wearing). I was told wrong. It applied just fine but after a few days, it began to come loose at the edges and makes crinkling sounds. The adhesive is great! I can't get it to come off in fear the prosthesis will be damaged further, so I cut off the spots where it comes loose.

First time ever using second skin and actually worked only used 2 pieces from the roll. The second piece stuck on for 5days. Not sure if on day 5 it lost the adhesive or sweat from the gym or combination from the shower but I came off pain free and the tattoo looked good. It really is waterproof as well. Would use it again.

I've ordered this twice now for both a smaller tattoo and a half sleeve, and it's always done the job! I'm not a professional, but I haven't seen any difference between this brand and the ones that my artists put on after a session. Wrapping large pieces, especially if it's in a hard-to-reach area, might require another person to help. Otherwise, it's been great and easy to use! I've left it on for 5-6 days with no issues.

Worked well! Application was a bit difficult because it was tightly curled.I did have an allergic reaction to this product. I broke out in hives under the second skin. I have blisters, hives, and rashes.

This tattoo wrap worked so much better than bandages i tried from the store, these stay on much better. They havent affected me at all ( no weird rashes)
