I have to say that this piece has an outstanding construction and quality, this is a sturdy well made shadow box, made with good attention to details, nothing exposed or cheaply made. Frame is a very nice silver painted wood (soo beautiful), shells are gorgeous, well cut and placed neatly on an elegant linen background, all protected with a real glass cover (not plexiglass or acrylic). The back of the frame is all sealed perfectly and painted, and has 2 ring picture hangers, the only thing is you need to put a wire yourself. Keep in mind this is a heavy object, probably needs heavy duty anchors. Since I can't do that on the wall that I had planned to hang item, sadly I had to return. With regards to value considering the quality of item, this is priced fairly, I've seen pieces of way inferior quality priced in the $100's.

These are STUNNING! The pics do them no justice. The frame is beautiful, the craftsmanship is excellent, the shells capture the light so beautifully! The’ll really catch the light of you put spotlights or a chandelier on them!5 stars all the way!

This is a gorgeous substantial piece. The frame is well made, behind the shells is a textured light beige fabric. the shells are beautiful! Perfect and unique entryway art for my beach home! If you found this, just buy this. So much to love !

I love this piece - it makes a great focal point for my living room, blends with my neutral decor, and reminds me of NZ when I look at it. It is VERY heavy, though, so it needs a secure anchor, so mount with care. But has been happily hanging for 6 months now, so very happy with this purchase.
