I was mistaken when I thought I read this insulation came with tools for cutting it and tacking it down. I know it doesn’t come with glue. It is easy to cut, it works as far as noise reduction. I only got one door panel and patched up some gaping holes in the ceiling previous install of insulation. I had a 10 mile round trip drive and it was noticeable how it was sounding less noisy. I have two different kinds of thermal insulation in my van but they are both the same thickness one was just peel and stick, this one is glue and stick. You shouldn’t try gluing a huge piece unless you plan on holding it in place for a bit you have to move the spot you’ll need to be holding also. Also wear gloves or your hands will get sticky!Once I figured out the spray glue it became easier to finish the install. I leave the front two windows open all day for a couple days and I don’t notice a chemical smell from the glue. I do notice that the sound is less noticeable and it seems a bit cooler than before I had it installed. It was like a tin can an empty tin can left in the hot sun. Now it’s not so bad.

Great to lay on bare steel prior to installing an all weather floor mat… There was a big spot where I wore through the factory carpet and insulation… I could have skipped this process, but using this material seemed more workman like…

Product looks ok, but came in way undersized, 3 inches short on length and width, not good.

FAFO I chose this insulation for a light box. It is easy to work with but I pushed the upper temp limit and it put off noxious fumes and the black “foam” turned to dust. I’m switching to fire rated insulation. I think the insulation is good for a vehicle and outdoor use.
