Rustic Mirror Wall Candle Sconces Set of 2 - Distressed Candle Holder French Shabby Decor for Farmhouse Bathroom Living Room Mirrored Sconce

Like a previous reviewer, mine too came looking like cow print rather than the distressing shown in the photos. However, I ordered them knowing this as I can repaint them and distress them and I'm ok with that. (Photos are after I repainted with ivory chalk paint and distressed.) Otherwise they're very cute and will fit in with my french country decor.

I’m going for a french farmhouse look. So the distressed look that was pictured on these wall sconces were exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, when the product arrived it looked more like a “cow design “ as my other half called it. Definitely not the distressed look that is pictured.

Let me explain... The photos suggest a more subtle paint on the sconces. When looking at them physically the black is splotches and they appear more roughly painted. This makes them stand out more which is a look based more on preference. They worked great in my dining room and sit on opposing sides of a mirror. The are decently made and hang nicely.

Charming set of distressed style, mirrored wall sconces. Beautifully crafted & well made. Candle holder folds in/out. Includes 2 screws & anchors for hanging. The distressed look isn’t the typical whitewashing effect you see on most “farmhouse” items. Has more of an authentic aged, chipped appearance. Very stylish & rustic looking. I only took a star away because both mirrors have a small scratch near the top that extends side to side. I almost thought it was cracked at first. Upon further inspection, it looks like something has grazed the surface. I imagine it has something to do with the assembly process since they weren’t identical in shape but located at the same spot on both sconces. It's not noticeable from a distance & they’re still very lovely décor pieces. They look beautiful hanging on the wall & match my other farmhouse décor perfectly.

I love these candle holders for my dining room! They are just what I was looking for !
