So comfortable. Lightweight but warm enough. Soft, not tight, not loose. Top notch quality. I use it casually as in I don’t ski, climb mountains or hike across the arctic tundra. I use it to keep my ears warm when it’s cold out. It does so perfectly. Ya get what you pay for. Worth the money in my opinion.

I’m reviewing to refute a reviewer who said that these hats aren’t reversible because of the sewn tag inside. They are reversible because the inside tag was sewn NOT with thread needed for the inside seam & it’s easy to remove if you take your time. Beautiful fabric, soft, not itchy. Best winter beanie I’ve ever had: comfortable, warm, washable, stretches so one size is fine, pretty.

Picked up this Smartwool Cuffed Beanie in black, and it’s quickly become my go-to hat for colder weather. The merino wool is super soft, not itchy at all, and does a great job keeping my head warm without overheating. It’s lightweight but still provides plenty of insulation, whether I’m out hiking, working outside, or just running errands. The fit is spot on—snug enough to stay put without feeling too tight. It also stretches a bit, so it should work for most head sizes. I like that it’s not overly bulky, so it’s easy to toss in a pocket when I don’t need it. Overall, this is a solid beanie that’s well-made and comfortable. If you want something warm, breathable, and durable, Smartwool knocked it out of the park with this one!

The hat was comfortable, soft, and very functional. It fit comfortably and provided proper heat protection. Pretty expensive for a hat though.

I wanted a small, lightweight beanie that I could keep in my bag to use if my rapidly-balding head got cold while out and about, and this fit the bill. It's super light and can be folded up to barely larger than a handkerchief, but provides very nice warmth for reasonably chilly spring or fall days here in Northern CA (I'd get a heavier beanie if you live in Chicago or Minneapolis in the winter). I saw a lot of people saying that it wasn't a good fit for larger heads, and out of the packaging that's true. I wear a size 8 or 8 1/8th fitted cap, so I know what it's like to have to settle for too-tight hats. What I did was stretch it over a youth basketball my daughter has (slightly smaller than a regulation NBA basketball) and then poured boiling water over the whole thing, soaking it thoroughly. I then put it out in the sun to dry, still on the basketball. An hour or so later it was dry and it had stretched just enough to be a perfect fit while maintaining its elasticity. Very happy with the result, and very happy with the product.

Nice hat for winter activities. It’s thin but warm and best of all it fits my big head! I use it for running in the winter.

Questo cappello è molto lungo e riesce a coprire anche le orecchie. Il risvolto è solido e non scivola. Il materiale? Beh che dire. Lana Merino 100%. Nessun prurito, nessun fastidio, nessuna pressione sulla fronte. Nessun effetto elettrostatico. La trama del tessuto è molto fitta, sembra cotone. Dopo 10 minuti ci si scorda di averlo. Mai più senza!

I already had one of these cos it’s the best. Light, close fitting, perfect for cold weather activities. Wash occasionally to keep fresh. This new one slightly longer which is ok.
