I love the retractable Kabuki makeup brushes. They are easy and soft on your skin and work well with compressed powdered makeup. I bought a second set to use just for traveling. They seem to be sturdy and well made. Others have said that they have come apart from the shell, I have not noticed any issues. The slanted brush is perfect for applying blush, the other brush I use with my powdered foundation. I wish this company could do the same for all face make up brushes. The value is great as was the price, other suppliers were double or triple the cost and the shells were available in different colors. I can't address the cleaning of the brushes, since I have had them for a very short period of time.

Nice brushes. Inexpensive but work well. Brushes are soft and fluffy but spread foundation and blush evenly and effortlessly. Easy to travel with since the collapse into the tube. Can fit into small make-up bag. Definitely would buy again.

I needed to replace my old foundation brushes and got these. Great price, cases close nicely and will hold up well. The brushes are full and dense and hold up fine. Although I love these brushes, I would have preferred the brushes would have been stiffer. They are very soft which feels good on my face, but they are almost too soft to move the foundation around. I honestly don’t think this is a bad thing, and I’ve gotten used to it. I suppose I’m used to a stiffer brush, but maybe this is better in the long run on my skin texture. So I’m making it work and my foundation looks good!

The media could not be loaded. I feel these brushes are a good quality for the price. They are very soft and they are staying intact throughout daily use! I like the compact style and the fact that when you close it up, it holds the bristles in place so you always get a fresh brush when you go to do your makeup! The brushes hold your crème foundation or powder product very well and it is very easy to use and blend! Great travel size for full face application and blush! Fits inside of a small purse, if you leave a little extra product on your brush, you can close it up and take it with you for re-application during the day! Remember the product you choose as a foundation will contribute to the result of the brush, I have experienced this working better with cream, foundations and powder foundations or blush, and a more dull experience with applying regular liquid foundation. These brushes hold powder very well!This little brush set would be an excellent gift for someone that likes to do makeup! If I received this as a gift, I would be super excited and really happy! I had never used a makeup brush until I used these little brushes. I bought them because I like that they are small and they would fit in the drawer in my bathroom easily. My sister showed me how she uses makeup brushes, so I decided to try her way. I bought the same makeup (liquid foundation, blush and powder) for putting on my face instead of my normal makeup.These brushes work great! I like the way they pop up after you take the lid off and pull down the piece that is covering them. They are perfect for my bathroom drawer and will be great for traveling. The brushes themselves feel very nice on my face. I use the slanted one to apply liquid foundation and the rounded one to apply blush and powder to set the liquid foundation. So far, I am very happy with these little brushes.

I purchased these kabuki brushes to keep in my purse for quick powder touch-ups during the day. They’re okay, but not exactly what I expected. They’re a bit larger than I anticipated, and I find them to be somewhat flimsy. The brushes don’t stay securely in their tin, so with a little jostling, they tend to come loose, which doesn’t feel very hygienic when they’re just rolling around in my bag. They get the job done, but they’re not the ideal travel brush.

Love they fit perfectly in my purse. No shedding of bristles. Love the fact they apply very easily to my face. Great value for the money.
