Great helmet
Good fit! A decent quality helmet. I mainly use it for kayaking and rafting.I would definitely recommend it for water sports.

Lightweight but beware of sizing
The helmet seems to be reasonably well made and light weight. However my head is 23.5 inches, just above the boundary of their "Medium" and "Large" size description. I started with the large. It was comically loose and hanging over my eyes even with everything tightened down to the max. Then I optimistically tried the medium. It was uncomfortably tight. Returned both.Definitely worth a try if you are right in the middle of their size ranges.

Nice helmet
Got this for my son who has a sit down electric scooter. I got the brightest color they have, to make him more visible. Fits well, and is comfortable, from what I've been told. He's happy so I'm happy. A+

Would not recommend for whitewater
There are only two good things to say about this helmet: It is better than no helmet and it is easy to use.I would only wear this helmet in a scenario where having an extremely light weight helmet is more important than your head.I've owned probably 10 different whitewater kayaking helmets over the last 25 years. I've owned everything from early Protec to custom helmets to the new industry standard WRSI Current helmet. I also worked for years at a shop that sold whitewater helmets and have been around dozens of different models. This helmet has the absolute worst fit and worst construction of any helmet I have ever owned or been exposed to. The shell is way too flexible and is super thin. The ear coverings are stiff and flat, nobody would want to use them. The cut above the ears is very strange, it seems to be too low. The fit is only for a round head and there is no way to adjust the liner. The helmet easily rolls back on my head and exposes my entire forehead even when cranked down. The strap is the thinnest I have ever seen on such a helmet, and if the helmet rolls back it's downright painful. This is my third purchase from Outdoor Master (SUP pump, ski googles) and I'm not sure I'll ever buy something from them again - I don't think it's responsible to market this as a whitewater helmet.

Lightweight, but weak design and poor fit
It's light, but not comfortable without a semi thick skull cap under it. Also, the fit is way off and protection seems inadequate for most sports. Here's what I wrote in my reason for return:I wear and XXL helmet usually and this L fits extremely loose and feels like there's very little protection offered given the amount I can flex it with very little force

Protection for your head that you can’t afford to not invest in
Nice quality helmet. Fairly light 12.3oz (large) and ample interior padding. Features a strong chin strap and clip. Easy to clip/I clip even using one hand.I’m a surf photographer and currently use a very popular water helmet. This helmet is approx 1oz lighter and with slightly thicker padding. The ear is exposed on this helmet but included are snap on ear protectors. I’d suggest using these to protect your ears especially if your sport may have impact such as from large waves or hitting the water surface (etc)My only “complaint” is i wished this helmet was a tad bit smaller around the head but that’s more of a cosmetic complaint from me.I’ve been concussed even using a helmet BUT without one I would’ve sustained even more damage. For the price, you can’t go wrong. Protect your dome!

Comfortable but may run a bit large
Over the years, I've had a few rock hits but most head bangs have been from tree branches. Either way, this one gives good head coverage. It covers the entire occipital bone in the back and most of the temples. Luckily, the flaps over the ears are removable as personally, I don't like my ears covered. They snap in if you want sun protection or some ear scrape protection as they are a harder flexible material. The interior is lined with a soft closed cell rubber, making it very comfortable. However, I measured myself to be 23.5" or so and ordered an "L" size as it suggested "[between sizes] we strongly recommend sizing up to the larger size." The "M" size went up to 23.2" and "L" size started at 23.2".There's a "Twist to tighten" dial on the back, like with many ski helmets, and I had to screw it down all the way to get a snug fit. There is still a bit of play side to side but not enough to worry about. but it's a bit large. The exterior is a full-cut (but open ear) flexible hard ABS plastic, the type of which I've worn for years. There are 6 holes on the top, 2 on the back, and 4 on the front for quick roll-up drainage. The chin strap is a heavy nylon with a removable pad. The extra thickness resists twisting which can be annoying with thinner straps. With the ear flaps it weighs 13.2oz (376g) making it one of the lightest kayak helmets. Removing the ear flaps and it's 12.3oz (350g).The only thing missing is a face guard, which many boaters can do without (except JM, who "Broken Nose" rapid on the Ocoee was named after). This helmet gives better protection than the helmet I now use and compares with in price and features to a Pro-Tec Classic. Just be aware of the size if you measure near the cross-over points. An "M" may have fit better.4 stars

Excellent helmet for outdoor sports that is easy to adjust and comfortable!
I ordered this outdoor helmet for my teenage son who often goes all over the place on his electric scooter. He hates wearing helmets, but he was okay with the clean lines and plain look of this helmet that I ordered for him in solid black. I ordered it for him in the adult small and it fits well. There were two earpieces that came separately but snapped in easily. Those are optional, but they are comfortable once in. The chin strap is adjustable and I like that there is a padded cover as my son has had chin straps in the past that would dig into his chin and were uncomfortable. There is also a dial on the back of the helmet that allows you to tighten everything just by rotating the dial. The helmet feels very strong and durable being made of heavy duty abs material and in the inside is nicely padded with EVA foam. My son doesn't do water sports regularly, but its great that he has the option of using this helmet when he goes up to the cottage with his buddies. Head protection is always number one when it comes to any sport, and this helmet is great! Highly recommended!

High Visibility. Super Comfortable.
The Helmet (ASIN B0CJ323ZFG) from OUTDOORMASTER arrived with manual and two snap on ear protectors/pads.Given helmets are designed for safety, I choose orange to increase visibility, especially when on the water as quick identification/location can make the difference between life and death when accidents happen.Helmet is very comfortable, lightweight, somewhat flexible (not rigid like a motorcycle helmet), completely foam lined inside, and offers adjustable straps that are riveted to the helmet. Ventilation is good, and the chin strap is padded - it fits like a light, super comfortable hocket helmet. Ear protectors snap on and there's a size adjuster located at the back (twist clockwise to tighten fit). This helmet adds a degree of protection when kayaking, or even buzzing around on a skateboard or scooter. It is not designed for fast moving vehicles like motorbikes since the outer shell is much softer and will wear-away very quickly should it be dragged along pavement (it also lacks the energy absorbing rigid compression foam found in motorcycle helmets). No helmet is fool-proof, and this one is no exception. It offers significantly more protection than not wearing one, but it will not protect you against all perils. To maximize safety, be sure to adjust the straps properly prior to using it in the wild. Remember, just because straps are snug doesn't mean the helmet is fitted properly.I hope you found this enlightening and/or helpful to your decision making.

Good head protection
What I like:- good construction- the EVA foam offers nice protection and will help the helmet float if dropped in the water- the back of the head adjustments is the quick cinching behind the head style (good)- quick release chin strap- the neoprene ear flaps have good snaps to hold firmly in place and are removable when not needed- lots of drainage holes- lightweight- comfortable- very reasonable price- can be used for many outdoor activities like skateboarding, biking etc. What I don’t like as much:- the UVA padding may not last as long when compared to other shock absorbing material

Thin shell
The media could not be loaded. Pros:- adjustable size- nice colorCons:- not certified by any safty standard- thin shell- the ear piece is stiff, making it very uncomfortableIf you don't care about safty standard, I could rate this a 3.5stars. But to me, this contradict to the reason of wearing a helmet. Why brother if it cannot protect you head.

Solid helmet if it fits
This is a nice, relatively inexpensive helmet for use in watersports, but also beyond. I measured my head circumference and I fell solidly into the medium size, so that’s what I ordered. I love the look of this helmet (I got the orange). It looks very high quality, with excellent moulding, no rough edges, and excellent quality strapping and riveting. The interior foam lining is truly a full foam liner, with complete coverage around the inside. The foam itself feels very high quality, and is of the type that has good grip, and shouldn’t slip when wet. There’s no cloth liner, just the foam, which is why I can see this as primarily a watersports helmet (as it’s sold as). The sizing was near dead on for me. That said, it took me a bit to get used to how the foam feels against my head as it does provide slight pressure at the front, back and sides. However, it doesn’t move at all, even with the chin strap loose. And the chin strap is great. It has a nice chin protector for comfort, and the straps are riveted to the helmet so they won’t slide. That said, if you have oddly big ears, or a very elongated face/chin, you may have some fit issues. I can definitely see myself getting use out of this helmet this summer!
