Franke and Amazon make zero effort to protect from damage during shipment
Love the sink. had to return it. 2x. It appears the lack of any protection in the box provided by Franke and Amazon combined with the absolute manhandling by the carriers insures you will get a damaged sink.

Expansive, solid, good looking. Get the ledge and bottom rack.
Expansive in size compared with 30+ year old old sink. Also purchased the bottom grid and middle rack. Fit and finish very good, very nice looking. I really thought I would hate the ledge where the middle rack sits but really don't notice it (so far - Installed yesterday).Comes with a square cover for the drain - it appears that they can (should?) remain in place while using it. I've turned the water up all the way and it seems to flow perfectly with the cover in place. I'm not sure how it will handle bits of food but my guess is that you can leave it in place for daily use and will only have to remove it occasionally.

Scratches instantly, terrible i’ll fitted grate
The media could not be loaded. The worst sink you can possibly purchase. I just completed a custom kitchen and kitchen place Bilotta suggested this! horrendous choice. it scratches even w a soft sponge. grate falls in with a touch. doesn’t fit at all on the ledge. do not buy this sink. going to replace it with a galley sink.
