Great nutty aroma !
And good taste. Not too robust so easily drinkable as all day everyday brew. Well done !

It’s not the same smell or taste as the instant coffee in jars.
This coffee was disgusting! It smelt like ash tray and was undrinkable. I orginally bought the instant coffee and it was delicious. I used this in the caffetierre and on opening the pack it smelt like new bin bags or ash trays.

Intense vanilla flavour
This coffee is really impressive. When I unboxed it, I was instantly hit by this really strong vanilla aroma. Once I opened as bag I struggled to smell the coffee as the vanilla was so intense. Each bag contains up to 10 servings of ground coffee, making around 170ml per serving when brewed. As I like strong coffee I tripled the suggested 10g serving size to around 30g. I brewed it in a Mokka pot and when I poured it, it was clear to see that the coffee was still a little on the weaker side.Putting aside any disappointment in the appearance I thought that the true result would be the taste test. This confirmed that the coffee is on the medium/weaker side of the spectrum. However the French vanilla is intense and gives this a really distinct taste like no other vanilla coffee I have tried. It starts slightly bitter and then moved into creamy vanilla before exiting on a slightly lingering arabica note.Overall I think this is certainly a coffee I will enjoy as a variable. However if you want a really strong and intense coffee I would look around first. That said this coffee is great for anyone who doesn’t like theirs too strong or for anyone looking for something a bit different.I would happily recommend it.

Absolute rubbish
I normally buy the Cafelux range but thought I'd try something else for a change and totally regret it. Stick to what you know is the moral of this story.
