Worth the extra $100 over similar racks!
This rack is yet another example of "you generally get what you pay for". There are two features about this rack that sets it apart strength and quality-wise from some (most?) of the similar-sized cheaper ones. I know, because I just had to return a $219 24x60 5-tier rack of another brand, which wasn't a lot of fun re-packing for pickup. First, look carefully at the support wire "I-beams" under the shelves in the photo here vs. the cheaper rack's shelves. This rack unit has TWO I-beam wire supports under each shelf, at 1/3 and 2/3 spacing across. The cheaper rack had just ONE down the middle on the underside of each shelf. Second, this must be made with harder/stronger steel because I have to walk quite a ways carrying each shelf from where the box is delivered to where I use them. Each of these shelves (carried them one at a time) were easily 30-40% heavier to carry than those of the cheaper rack. I have no idea why this doesn't show up in the listed weight for shelving units - the other cheaper one was listed at 10 lbs heavier. Something isn't right there, those numbers may not be accurate. That extra support beam ^^^ under each shelf is part of it, but wouldn't account for this much difference. The wire metal must be stronger/harder 'like the marketing write-up says. I can verify that because one reason I returned the cheaper rack is the 24" x 60" shelf bounced like a trampoline when I dropped a moderately heavy box in the middle of it. I couldn't believe it. No such problem here! There is a little flex, but what I would consider completely normal and nothing like the other one which was actually laughable. The other reason I returned the cheaper one was 3 of the 5 shelves with corners (and in the middle on one shelf) badly bent on arrival. Like brent a whole INCH! Sure, the warehouse or shipping probably dropped it on a corner off a forklift or such, but it shouldn't have caused THAT much bending. The metal on that cheaper 24 x 60 wire rack was weaker. Again no such problem here! Arrived with the shelves straight as an arrow. The cardboard shipping box on this one was a little stronger than the other, but that wouldn't make a big difference. The wheels on this are great! Better locks on two of the four casters. Before I bought this I just kind of rolled my eyes at the 4000 lb listed rating vs 3K (leveling feet, 720 with casters like I'm using), assuming the usual marketing hype, and hoped at least it was no worse than the other one. Nope! Now I'm a believer. That 25% extra stated capacity for this one easily matches up what I'm feeling with the extra weight in these shelves and the extra support beam under each, plus my little "bounce test" with a heavy box in the middle of one 60" long shelf vs. the other brand. One suggestion: *** you really do need to use a wrench to tighten wheels to pole and between poles (together) with ANY brand of wire rack, this included *** Don't rely on hand tight, it WILL loosen with time if you do. This rack includes a thinner wrench that fits the nuts on the wheels. Just put a pipe wrench on the tube as a back-up wrench and works great. Then in the middle use two pipe wrenches. Another testament to quality here, the teeth on the pipe wrenches didn't make any noticable ding in the chrome plating on the tubes. I'm impressed! SUMMARY: JUST BUY IT ALREADY!

Easy to assemble, very sturdy
Easy to assemble. Very sturdy-made of steel--even with heavy boxes, the shelves do not buckle. No big manual to read. The ones I got with castor wheels were easy to add onto the shelving cart and the wheels are lockable. Two castor wheels come with the shelves. I like that I can move the shelf-cart around to get bigger boxes in and then put the shelf-cart back in place and lock the wheels. Nothing has fallen off the shelves--they are 24 inches deep so they hold rubber bins and big boxes well because each shelf above has a railing lip to help keep boxes from tipping out.

Relatively easy to put together.
The shelves were laid out in the box in the order they were needed for assembly. The shelves were relatively easy to put together, alone. The top shelf was a little tricky to slide into p!ace by myself, but it was manageable. The shelves appear to be very sturdy and well co stricter with no weird or sharp angles. I purchased a 2nd shelf.

junk
Arrived damaged, Amazon said due to the high cost of the item, they are changing the protocol and will not refund me until the 30 day return window has passed. This makes no sense unless they are going to rip me off. Buyer beware.

Missing threaded caster
One caster came without threads to screw into shelf. Three casters had threads on them.
