This a beautiful accessory that is very practical. I use this when I want protection for my face from the sun. It is light weight, easy to hold, and truly works well. Very stylish. Great gift idea.The craftsmanship is top quality.

Lovely parasol, well made. Beautiful cotton string and bamboo struts give the eyes a feast. (Wish the handle was not plastic but oh, well. I sawed it off and installed an O screw for my project anyway. The lastic is the only reason I didnt rate this a five star and I probably should have.) I bought this as a tester to see if a bunch of them could be made to cover my flourescent lighting fixture in my windowless little tunnel kitchen. (Available bulbs could only warm the tones a few shades; they are not made for this fixture in daylight or warmer tones.)The quality of light in my kitchen is radically improved. Helps lessen my depression while using the dark, awkward kitchen. I believe this parasol would be enjoyable in its standard use but I never tested it outside. It is excellent for flourescent bulb transformation.Hope this was not too much info that is irrelevant to most buyers.

This parasol is gorgeous! It was just the right size it kept the sun off of me when I was vacationing in PR and also was useful for the light rain that would come off and on throughout the day. It is a must have item if you are traveling to the tropics. I was heavily complimented on it and the stunning artwork it showcases. This is well-made easy to use and a perfect size. I plan to use it all summer.

Did not work for me. More for show than sun protection. I was looking for something a bit more opaque and less delicate. I also found the tassels to be distracting.

Will be returning. No fan included, inaccurate description... also double the price and very long delivery time. Can purchase the same product for one day shipping and half the cost from other sellers.
