Excellent noise cancellation and quality
I tried two others in this price range. There is a noticeable increase in ANR with these headphones. They are also lightweight and comfortable. The narrow headband is unique to these, while it is sturdy. The fit is secure. They fold up neatly as well. The body is of a high quality plastic with an excellent glossy finish and stylish details. They are not audiophile, as they emphasize the middle range - but this matters little if you are looking primarily for ANR. The only drawback is that the audio cable is not detachable - but it comes with a clip to attach the rolled up cable to your belt loop. It seems that more of the cost is dedicated to quality, rather than to Bluetooth technology, which these omit. Many want to stay away from Bluetooth anyway, at least when it comes to headphones. Last, but not least, there is no latent noise emitted, just a sense of a hushed silence.

Excellent companion for a long flight
These are perfect for masking the low-frequency engine noise that makes air travel so stressful. Good sound isolation plus good active noise cancellation equals a wonderful flying experience. Maybe I'm just lucky that these are perfectly fitted to the shape of my ears and the sides of my head, but they provide a great deal of noise-muffling just by putting them on, before I even turn them on, thanks to their good sound isolation. Then when I turn them on, the engine noise just evaporates. Comfortable, too. Relatively light-weight for full-size over-the-ear headphones. Comfortable faux-leather cups. Rechargeable is a nice feature, too. One hack I've found helpful: even adjusted for the smallest possible head size, they don't rest on the top of my head. So I bring along a nice plush face cloth and put that on top of my head between the top of my head and the arm of the headphones. With that simple hack, the headphones fit me perfectly, and as an added bonus, I don't feel any weight on top of my head.

Good sound, very full, good lows, but can't tell if the active noise works.....
The good: They sounds great, with the Active Noise Cancellation off. They block a lot of sound on their own. family members talking in the background are gone. The Bad: With the ANC on the sound feels a lot more hollow, with no Lows.... I would be able to deal with this but there doesn't seem to be any benefit that I was expecting. I was hoping that screaming children, loud tv's noisy coffee shops would be significantly reduced and that hasn't happen yet. Overall: Good sound but the ANC was not what I remember experiencing with Bose many years ago. I however, have no other ANC headphones to compare to so it's good for light background noise, maybe it will have a better effect in airplanes but it won't turn a loud coffee shop into the library.

Good headphones with a fatal flaw
Comfortable headphones with good sound and good noise cancelling. I had to downgrade them because after less than 4 months, the plug has become problematic, with increasing static noise whenever it is touched or tugged while plugged into a device. The design doesn't seem to allow for a new plug wire. A few days later, an earphone pad fell off. I contacted the company who said they have no record of my purchase and couldn't help me. Good think I had bought a Square One warranty. They said they'd reimburse me in full plus sent me a free Fed Ex return label.

Not so Noise Cancelling
I purchased this in April of 2018 specifically for the Noise Cancellation feature. Unfortunately, it does not cancel as expected. it does muffle a little. I wanted, specifically, to use at work without listening to music. But in order to drown out the unwanted voices, i need to listen to music. Sound is decent enough for the price

Great value and great set of headphones, even with glasses on
Bought them for using with my iPad. They work great, fit over my ears just fine even with glasses on without causing any pain on the glasses bows. The "noise cancelling" is okay, with it on I can still hear surrounding noise, TV, talking, etc. but it's sort of background though. These do sound great, have listened to a number of youtube videos where you can tell they've got a dog or something in the room and you can pick up the dog coming from right to left as it walks by as well as other noises. Impressed with the sound quality. Comes in a nice zipper container with a few extra connectors (old school plane connector and micro-usb charger cord)

Music sounds TERRIBLE with the ANC feature switched on.
These headphones were VERY disappointing, considering the price I paid. Without the Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) they sound good. Not audiophile quality but the bass comes through fine, as well as the treble and mid. The headphones are light, fit all the way over my full-sized ears, and are comfortable, too. I can enjoy music for an extended period of time with these headphones (with the ANC turned off.) All that said, you can get something just as good if not a bit better without ANC a little cheaper. The ANC by itself does pretty well too. It cuts down outside ambient noise as well as any other headphones or earbuds I've had that included ANC. It's great for getting rid of that annoying blowing sound if you're listening to headphones with a fan blowing on you. Here's the bad news, though: The headphones fall flat when you use the ANC while also listening to music. Ugh! Epic fail! When you turn on the ANC the quality of your sound instantly plummets to something just terrible! Highs and lows are chopped away out without mercy, and I think the sample rate of the output is way below CD quality. Overall the experience is little better than if you were listening to music via an old-style landline telephone. I was frankly shocked at this result. I've had several ANC headphones and ear buds in the past and never experienced this before. I'm almost certain that when the ANC is off the headphones simply pass the analog signal from the source to the (pretty good quality) speakers. When the ANC is turned on, however, it appears the little embedded computer has to kick in and digitize the sound from the source, digitize the ambient sound coming from the little microphone, calculate a "negative" sound from the mic input and blend that with the newly digitized source sound, then finally convert this new blended digital signal back into analog for the speakers. And do it all quick enough to avoid any noticeable delay. Probably, the electronics on these headphones is doing a very poor job digitizing the analog source sound. But that's just a guess.

great headphones
I'm really happy with these headphones. It took me awhile to find some that could fit over my ear comfortably and not hurt after awhile. I've used these for a couple hours at a time with no problem. I mostly got them to help myself stay focused at work and they've been really helpful. I really like the noise reduction option as well and find that it works pretty well. I also love that these came with a nice case to protect them and that they are easy to store. I think the sound is just fine as well.
