Talk about a bargain, this nifty little omelette maker cooks great ones in just 5-6 minutes. Works well, takes up little space, cooks omelettes quickly and cleanup is a breeze.

After looking at the specs of all similar products on Amazon and elsewhere, I picked this one based on size, power, and design. And it didn’t disappoint. The design is better than any competitor (it looks like art, people don’t know what it is). It heats up in 2 mins! A grilled cheese takes 2-3 mins and it’s bubbling! (It can handle a slice of lunch meat in with the cheese but nothing thicker). The plates pop out cleanly, and can be wiped of any crustiness with a finger (we sponge them)! Haven’t tried the waffle plates but I assume the same. Used everyday for last 3 weeks for kids lunchbox. This thing is gold. Only nitpicks: the plate is a 1/2” short of a standard bread slice, so you need to trim one side of your bread first. And I wish it included a 3rd set of plates that make the triangle shaped sandwich pockets. But really who cares, it’s perfect. And everyone who visits comments and loves it. Just don’t expect a panini maker, it isn’t that. It’s a tiny, fast, inexpensive, beautiful waffle and grilled cheese maker.

Have only used it once so far but I love it. It makes the perfect size and works just as the instructions say!

I bought this from reviews. I love kitchen gadgets. I also need to count calories so maybe being smaller is better. If you take 4 large eggs that’s about all it will hold I found if you want to add some toppings only use 3 eggs and you’ll still overfill it. It cooks a little hot. The top and bottom will start to brown in 5 minutes and inside will just be cooked. I can live with that but my wife doesn’t like any brown or crust on her eggs. I found mixing a little mashed potato in hers makes it acceptable. Taste is personal and if you don’t cook this is great for making an excellent egg dish. If you cook it’s not an omelet and more of a baked frittata. I’ll figure out other uses because I love kitchen gadgets

If you have any overflow of liquids the inside of the unit fills up and does not drain. Over time (one month) it became a smelly hazardous mess. We had to take it apart to clean it and found it is an electrical hazard waiting to happen! The wires sit against the heating coils and they have already started to burn. I can’t return it because it is past its window so I guess it is going in the garbage! BEWARE!
