Celebrate a happy New Year,,,👨👩👧👦
with a box of these fortune cookies In spite of the bad news you get elsewhere, these fortunes always have great news for you. One caveat, it's hard to eat just one as they taste great.

The Fresh Ones are Really Good
Welp, these are WAY better than the ones I bought a while ago, also from Amazon, from a third party seller, TableTop King. That's not saying too much, since those were absolutely NO GOOD. Do not buy "Panda" fortune cookies from TableTop King. The box of Panda fortune cookies I bought from TableTop King tasted like cardboard and were horrible - the worst I've ever had. These, from Golden Bowl are a mix of really crispy, fresh, good cookies. And a better deal at $20.50 for a box of ~350. There were also some stuck together, some stale cookies, empty bags and broken cookies in the box. I also counted and instead of the requisite 350 cookies, there were only 335 in my box!! Yes, I counted every one. There were also a few "twin" wrapped cookies, and some empty bags that were all strung together and stuck to regular wrapped cookies - see photo. So if you are buying these for an event, be prepared to waste quite a few that aren't perfect-looking. But at least I got some fresh ones that tasted good, like fortune cookies should taste like. The quality control is just really lax with this company, so be warned. Overall, I really like this brand; of the ones that were good, they were really good. After you subtract the empty bags, the broken ones, the twins, the stuck-together ones and the stale ones....

The same brand my local Chinese restaurant uses.
I keep these on hand at my house for family and guests. They are the same brand my local Chinese restaurant uses. Just pay attention to the expiration date on the package.

Great tasting fortune cookies
Love these. They have the best flavor. I will definitely order them again. People complain about some of them being broke but it's almost impossible not to break them. Some of mine were broken also but it doesn't matter. I'm going to break them to eat.

Disappointment
I am a treat maker and was hoping I may get lucky with my order and have less broken. I need full intact cookie so it could be dipped in chocolate and re-sell. I read all the reviews before ordering and most recent seemed decent. Here is my take on this order. I was suppose to get 350 cookies but got 347 instead. Out of the 75/347 cookies were really broken and could not be used. That was 21% broken cookies. I had about 50 with either the “fortune” paper was outside of the cookie and or sticks out way too much. If I were to use these there’s no more point of a fun fortune cookie because most by that point would be empty. So is this item worth the value? No with so many broken and I cannot use. My take on flavor and cookie itself: the cookie is crunchy and taste good. I believe it’s just a little too thin compared to the thicker traditional cookie that is why it breaks so easily. I’m pretty sure that these cookies were made in factory by machine and packs quality control because of so many broken and bad quality looking cookies. With the packaging for shipping perhaps with so many bad review I thought by now the company could do something about it. If the cookies normally come with so many broken, maybe provide extras in the bag/box. Overall, I will not be purchasing this brand or from them again. I need to find better quality cookies. Not worth the value and disappointed. But again, to some this is just cookies.

Smaller Cookies but Very Fresh and Crispy! Uh Oh; Update!
These arrived very well packed. Not too many broken ones. The cookies themselves are a bit different from the fortune cookies I am used to. I got the vanilla ones but they are kind of an odd orange color. They are also a lot smaller than a traditional fortune cookie and much thinner too. Mine arrived very fresh and crispy. I didn't care for the taste at 1st, but after eating a few with a couple cups of hot green tea, they have kinda grown on me. Because they are so thin, they seem to be a lot crisper than the traditional tan colored fortune cookies. Now that I have eaten about 10 or 12, I got Capt'n Crunch mouth! - In other words, if ya eat too many at one sitting, the roof of your mouth gets nicks and sore from the sharp, crispy edges. All in all, I would buy these again. But next time, I will check around Amazon for a better price! Mine were $27.50 for a 350 count of the vanilla with the free shipping. I have now seen them for $17.50 with the free shipping, so shop carefully! UPDATE 10/30/2022: OK, I was having a craving for Fortune Cookies And, I also thought these might be good Halloween Treats too. So, I ordered the Vanilla 350 Count Box at $34.88. The Box arrived within a few days and was well packed in another box, so the cookies mostly arrived unbroken. I found that the actual size of these cookies have gotten a lot smaller since I ordered my last box a few years ago. These look like Mini Fortune Cookies! The cookies were fresh and crispy, but are quite orange colored and taste like citrus, not vanilla. There were a lot of puffed-up but empty cookie wrappers, like somehow a cookie did not get in the bag but it got filled with air anyway. I would say about 10 percent of these puffed-up bags were empty. A few cookies were loose and I did find their broken/torn bags in the box. I discarded those as who knows what touched them. All-In-All, with the large price increase and the very noticeable decrease of the actual Cookie size, and the weird Citrus flavor, I will not be buying this brand of Fortune Cookies again.
