I’ve been obsessed with smash burgers lately and the included burger press set really helps me achieve the press I’m aiming for. I’ve also used the grill basket for grilling up some shish kebabs at the campsite and they always come out delish!

I got this grill basket to help with my world famous grilled teriyaki salmon. Yes, it's known and revered the world over (at least by my cousin in France, when he visited), but the fish basket I normally use is tight on the fish, and so cleaning it and getting the various fish pieces off the basket mesh is a tedious job. This basket makes it easy!First, the wooden handle, while not dishwasher safe, is removable, so the basket itself can just be dropped into a dishwasher. Also, the mesh on the basket is wider than my current holder, so it's easier to wipe off. Be aware, though, that while the basket can be turned while on the grill, the handle is offset toward the top of the basket, so when turned the wooden handle can actually touch the grill if you are not careful with placement. Also, the basket width, at around 12" wide, can hold a piece of salmon, but not the whole fish. The fish will either need to be cut down to size, or else I'll need to revert to my old fish holder when I have a larger party.The added pieces that come with the basket are nice, though the tongs are too small to be generally useful. For me, though, the basket itself is an upgrade over my current one and I highly recommend it.

Disappointed – NOT FOOD SAFE – unacceptable dangerous sharp burrsNO WAY AM I USING THIS FOR FOOD PREPARATIONThis is worst metal product I have ever received for being unfinished and NOT CONSUMER READY. Apparently the manufacturer has no shame and has no Quality Control standards. Almost all of the metal edges had dangerous razor sharp burrs that should have been removed before the product was shipped out. It is normal for cut and formed metal to have sharp burrs created in the manufacturing process. However, someone along the assembly line is supposed to be assigned the job of removing those burrs. Then someone else is supposed to be assigned the job of inspecting the burr removal. Both of those guys failed at their jobs.I do a lot of metal fabricating on an amateur scale. I never allow sharp edges to leave my jobsite.The grill grates arrived brand new with many of the wire grate welds flawed with loose connections and unacceptable dangerous sharp burrs. Obviously the manufacturer has no Quality Control standards to allow this defective product to be sold. The round hamburger mold cups had similar unacceptable dangerous sharp burrs. The tiny tongs had similar unacceptable dangerous sharp burrs.I have ordered lots of cooking racks with perfectly shiny wire grates with every single weld perfect with no dangerous sharp burrs. I love using this for vegetables as I can flip them all at once or when grilling fish, because it tends to fall apart or stick to the grill, so this works great for that. It's very easy to use right out of the box too. You have tongs, a grilling mat which is a little thin and ehh but it does the trick, and you have the burger rings and press. I can't say that I like that the burger rings are attached to one and other but it's fine. I really just wanted them to use to form the patties but if you're like me and those tend to fall apart when cooking then the burger rings work great. They're a little small though and better for making sliders. All in all this makes a great gift or great for when you're camping and don't want to put your food directly on the communal campsite grill.

This is a really nice grill addition. We used it and it is large enough you can fit several items inside. We got had hot dogs and brats in it with 2 burgers everything worked great and nothing was burnt and it tasted good. This was easy to clean afterwards
