No issues with tearing like that one person. I did learn that to take care of molds you should spray with silicone mold release and seal them in a bag. My only issue is cleaning off. People said scotch tape but ive tried and it's really tedious.

Need to purchase larger jump rings due to the hole placement being so low from the top. I purchased bigger ones but they weren’t big enough! Otherwise, nice sturdy product with a clean result

I bought this to use the larger pieces on my Celebration Tree. I have not used the smaller pieces ( they may be stronger) I use a good mold release spray but when I demolded the large round piece it tore into the edges of the mold. The square pieces did release without damage.

Basically all of the pieces had to be ripped out the molds. Super disappointed. Total waste of money. Never used mold release on any molds before so I am not sure if it would’ve helped. Used pro marine resin.Update: saw something that said my torch messed up my molds, so I ordered again and for the most part the popped out easily. That little top part of the hole has been tricky, try not to let any resin cover it. But since these have become a hot sale, I am purchasing again. Ordering my 3rd one soon. I will do another update if anything changes. Changed from 1 star to 4 stars. Only because the second mold I ordered did seem more sturdy than the first, so possibly hit and miss.

The mold is okay. I mean I can use it and get what I need done and the flexibility is nice but, I miss the sturdiness. The product is not nearly as sturdy/thick as the original version I bought in the past. I believe the company just wanted to use less material for molds but I miss the old version which is better in my opinion. The Mold at the bottom of picture is the new thinner one. My older one in top is way better and I feel the new one will wear out fast. We’ll see hopefully I’m wrong and the new is better than the old.

My granddaughter is just learning how to make resin jewelry and she LOVES this set. Great variety of sizes and shapes. Kind of tricky getting them out of the molds around the holes at the top but with patience and not too much force on them each one came out perfectly. The extra goodies were a big hit with her too. I ordered two sets worried about some of the other reviews about the tabs that make the holes at the top tore off when demolding so if that did happen she had a stand-by mold. The trick is you have to be sure and not pour the resin so it covers the tabs. She is making pendants for all of her friends and plans on making some for friends and family for all holidays. She may need to learn how to make jewelry boxes too. 😬. We are very happy with these molds.

These molds work great for my purposes. They're deep enough to cast little mushrooms and plants for pendants, easy to remove, and leave a shiny finish. I have never used any sort of mold release with silicone molds. This particular set has several shapes I don't bother using anymore, and the largest molds are too big for necklace pendants, but the small rectangles and circles get a lot of use. Even after a year of heavy use, these molds are in great shape. I do have to sand the backs of my castings once they set, because the resin always dries with a little lip (nothing caused by these molds, that's just how resin works). I also use a heat gun to get my bubbles out rather than a torch (I ruined my first set of molds by melting the silicone with the flame).
