I ordered this for my mom for her to have while relaxing in the pool. She really likes the fit and it is not intrusive to her. It floats just as expected and helps her maintain her balance. Works great and highly suggest if you are in the market!

This is very effective for keeping the belt in the right position. I do not particularly like the way you have to get into it, but once you figure that out, it is pretty effective and comfortable.

It is not for learning how to float & is not a floating device, it is and Aqua exercise device. I love it and I can work out hard in the water and get my heart working. I do all kinds of exercises, run, walk, ski and I have made up some odd named things that I do -- all are safe. It makes me want to work-out. Enjoy!!! If you nothing about working out in the water, search the web and educate your self and clear everything with your doctor.

I was trying to use this belt for water aerobics but it was so hard and didn’t move with me! I couldn’t continue to use it because it was so uncomfortable!

My YMCA branch had a similar belt that I had been using to help my son (7, 75lbs) learn to swim, but we ran into afew instances where they were all in use. I got this because of the leg straps, and was plesantly surprised during our swim today. The belt never rose up. We didn't have to stop to readjust. It is *not* as boyant as the other brands, but this was actually preferably for teaching a young swimmer.I'm rather confident this would be too small for an adult, as it fits my child very well, but it's exactly what I was looking for.

The material is too stiff & is not not form fitting. I found it cumbersome and felt a little clumsy moving in the water because it shifts a little around your waist. Because the material is stiff, It was hard to get the belt tight enough to fit as it should. I did try cutting vertical "V"'s in the foam and that helped it wrap around better but not enough. I ended up giving it to the Salvation Army.

This swim belt is an invaluable tool and seems to be well made! The belt doesn't come up from my waist to strangle my ribs and stays in place better to keep me upright in the water and feel secure! It is easily resizable, comfortable and full of power. Allows me to swim or do water aerobics with ease, hopefully helping to strengthen bones and muscles!
