Did Not Work
Bought as a replacement for the other remote switch. At least this one was properly grounded from wire in to wire out but then it didn't work at all. Ordered replacement but do not have high hopes?

CHAOSEND AC110V Waterproof Remote Power Switch. Long Range Remote.
Installed this in the back yard. The range of the remote is quite good, allowing control from a distance. The power switch itself is a no-frills device that simply does what it says. However, the remote is quite tall. Overall, it is an effective solution for outdoor power control.

Works quite well
This is a great switch device, more powerful than the normal remote operated outlets you find. The remote doesn't look particularly great, it's lightweight and feels like a toy with a greyish beige plastic shell that looks like a 1990's garage remote with the extendable antenna. However, it has quite a long stable range. I think the main kudos go to the receiver relay because it is much more heavy duty feeling. It is a hefty box with waterproof glands connecting the inlet and outlet cables. The cords are a higher gauge able to take a pretty large wattage. The receiver responds quickly to the remote. The remote only has an A(On) and B(Off) button so it's pretty simple to use, and an LED light to show the button press is actually doing something. It also has an on/off switch for itself on the side to save battery power. You need your own 9V battery to power the remote, and the relay runs off the AC.I have a couple lower range remote switches for my garden pumps and lights, but they need a direct line of sight within 40 ft to be even sensed. This remote is really powerful and within 100 ft you don't even need to point at the receiver direction.

Works great
Docked a star because of their labeling. There is no "On / off" labels. Instead it's letters like A/B and F/N or something. Otherwise the remote works 30ft to power on my outdoor electric smoker and feels weatherproof.

Very cool feature for a smart plug where I don't have wifi.
I had been looking for a way to turn my pool pump on and off remotely, but not on a set time schedule, and I don't have Wi-Fi signal where it plugs in. This solved my issue. I can use the remote to turn the pump on and off at my convenience without needing to be out at the pool. This product has lots of great potential uses and should work well for any remote power switching needs. Highly recommended.

WOW on the range! And it works great. Simple solution to a basic problem
This was kind of an impulse buy as I have a workshop on the far corner of my back acre and I wanted a way to turn the inside lights on as I walk up. The device is simple. Plug into wall, and plug the device you want to activate via remote into the other end. Add batteries, flip switch and it works. A for on B for off.At first I though I was just going to keep the remote in my truck about 25 feet away and just light up the inside when I needed to. But curiosity go the best of me and I started testing the on off from different ranges. My house is about 2/3 a US football field away from my shed. (75 yards) Sure enough from inside the house the signal reached and I can turn the light on and off. So I can actually keep the remote in my garage and flip the lights on from the house. That was a pleasant surprise.I think I want another now, as I want to add light fixtures to my gazebo and my green house in the front yard and again have the option to turn the lights on/off from the house. The range on this is much more than I expected. If you have a need to add a remote to say outdoor lighting, a bug zapper, mister fans, green house heater any thing that plugs in this is a great device. If I had to say something bad, ok, the remote is big and bulky, and it's weird to have a different button for on and off. BUT if that's the worse thing I can think of really this is pretty cool. If you want to add a remote to something outside that is plugged in this is what you need. I'm sure someone has probably made some kind of smart plug with a mobile app, but this is just a nice simple practical solution to a basic problem that you don't want to spend a whole bunch of money on and not need another app for your phone.

Great Range, Weatherproof, Affordable
This is probably overkill for my needs. I needed a remote switch so that I could turn on a space heater in my shed to warm it before venturing outside to work in the shed. It's only about 50 feet from my house to the shed. This remote has a range of over half a mile! But I also wanted something weatherproof so that I could use it outdoors, so this seemed to be a good option. It's built pretty rugged and sealed decently. I think it will hold up well to the elements in all weather. It's easy to install (just plug in-line with your equipment) and easy to use. My only complaint is the size of the remote (it's pretty large) and that the remote is made out of fairly cheap plastic, likely easily broken. I definitely wouldn't put it in a back pocket where you might sit on it. But there is one nice feature to the remote - you can actually switch power to the remote off both to conserve battery power on the remote and to prevent accidentally switching on/off the equipment. For the price, I think this is a great deal and can definitely recommend.

433mHz remote control power switch
This switch does exactly what it is supposed to do. It can turn off the extension cord power to my shed from my house.Description says it can work up to 30A. I'm only running it on a 20A circuit, so I haven't tested that. While the circuit box is water proof, the two connectors are not; so mind that accordingly. The remote control is bulky with an old school extending metal antenna. I haven't had the need to extend the antenna for the distances I'm working with, though. It does take a 9V battery to work. It works on 433 MHz, which does give you a lot of distance, but like most radio signals, line of site is best. Trying to operate it through walls, especially metal studs will significantly shorten the working distance.
