While it's not exactly a pillow, it IS exactly as advertised and in my opinion, is sold at a fair price. It's a little smaller than I expected (advertising pix seem to do that alot) but still works perfectly to keep our pillows from moving up and squeezing between the headboard and mattress, while also offering a nice ramp to stack our pillows up on when we want to sit up in bed. And the option to go from triangle to flat is handy too. It comes rolled up tight, but as the label indicates, 24 hours is plenty of time for it to regain shape and be ready to use. We've had no issues with this item so far.

Vacuum packed, expands after Iremoved from plastic vacuum pack. By the end of the day was fully expanded. Works well, fills space, gives a good angle for pillows ..just as I needed it to!!

This really works now I do not drop things in that space behind my head. The pocket handy for my phone or remote.

This pillow was rated for gaps up to 7", however, my gap is about 5" and it only lasted one night before it just got squished up & pushed all the way through to the floor just like all the other pillows. I switched it to the FOOT of my bed (I have an attached bench, so I pushed the mattress flush with the headboard and then folded this wedge pillow into the "rectangle" shape and shoved in into the gap now between the foot of the mattress and the bench), and it seems to work better, although it still isn't "tall" enough to not lose things to the gap still (example, kids toys they're always bringing in), so on top of this wedge pillow, I folded up 2 body pillows and shoved them in the gap as well... that has worked well, and better than the body pillows themselves would. So, for us, it wasn't the "cure" to our problem, but it did end up helping. However, I wouldn't purchase it again. It is soft and the fabric is nice, and does seem pretty durable and sturdy otherwise.

I was looking for a product to put at the head of my sons new twin bed to keep his pillow/stuffed animals from falling. It worked at first but the triangle pillow inside has just not held its shape-I am constantly having to unzip the pillow and reposition it. It also keeps falling between the mattress and headboard.

Did not work for our bed. We have an adjustable king bed, and when your raise the head up it falls in between the mattress and headboard. If you have a non adjustable it may work for you. It does come compressed and rolled up. Therefore it take a little while to expand, maybe 10 - 15 minutes.

This wedge pillow with accessory pockets is a neat design element that adds just the right amount of angle to make your pillows look extra plush. It is also used to keep things from falling behind your headboard.The build:This unit is built with higher firmness memory foam. It comes rolled up in an air tight bag. Once you've opened the bag it will unroll and puff up. You must give the wedge pillow time to achieve optimal density. Allotting 24h would be preferable. This will allow the pillow to achieve it's degassing cycle and prevent possible new foam smell. The pillow is also covered with a thin dark grey sheet with two side pockets. The material is somewhat stretchy and feels of decent quality. The only thing I would say might be an issue is the seam work. In some spots it seams a bit on the spotty side.What can I say this pillow does what it advertised. It works great and fits perfectly on my full sized mattress. It makes my bed look extra clean when it is made. A navy seal once said a well made bed = respect for ones environment and the start to a well balanced routine. I can't agree more, it brings a sense of zen and calm knowing my room is in order.Final thoughts:It works as advertised, it's not to expensive and features storage pockets for each individuals side. This mattress gap filler pillow (hereafter known as “the wedge”) has so many uses. You can use it on your bed to raise your pillow, you can use it on your couch as a lower back/lumbar support, you can use it to raise your head when watching TV in bed. It provides a gentle rise onto which you can put your pillows. There are pockets at either end for storage of items like remotes.I often stay at a friend’s home on the weekends. The double bed that I use is smaller than my regular queen at home. At home I just put an extra pillow over my regular pillow when I want to read. For some reason, this does not work at my friend’s home. I also have difficulty getting myself at a decent angle to watch TV in bed at my friend’s home. On top of that, there is a gap between the double mattress and the queen-size headboard and the tube from my CPAP is constantly falling in there and restricting my movements.I saw the wedge and thought it might solve several problems… and I wasn’t wrong. The wedge gives a gentle incline onto which I place my pillow and I’m at a comfortable angle to read and to watch television in bed. It also closed the gap between the mattress and headboard so my CPAP tube no longer falls down and gets wedged in the space.At a cost of $36.99 (May 2024), this product gets a definite thumbs up from me.

The wedge is very firm so I don't have to worry about it slipping through the gap due to being squished as it barely compresses. I don't have too big a gap at the head of my bed, just enough to allow my phone etc. to fall through sometimes, so I found the 'right' way of positioning this (with the 10" part parallel to the mattress) eats up too much of my mattress space. Like in the listing photos, this could be good for when you're propping your pillow up against the headboard, but when I put my pillows down flat to sleep on the wedge it elevates it too much that I can't lie flat properly. To get around that, I flipped this on its side and have the supposedly 6" side parallel to the mattress instead. Note I measured this side to be more like 4.5" than 6", while the 10" is accurate. I also pushed my mattress closer to my footboard so that only a small corner of the wedge is being supported by the mattress. This works well since the wedge is so nice and firm. Despite only having a corner up against the mattress, it doesn't shift around or fall into the gap at all. The only disadvantage about placing it the way I have it is that I can't use the side pockets. I didn't plan on using it anyways so it doesn't impact me at all.Small update: It seems to have expanded further and much closer to the 6" on the short side. As shown in my photo (excuse the dog hairs) I placed mine with the long edge against headboard and short edge against the mattress. It takes up around 3 inches of space at the head of my mattress. My pillows do not go over it when I sleep as it is too firm and elevated to be comfortable for sleep. Note if you have acid reflux and are looking for something to prop you up when you sleep this is too firm, you should look into a wedge pillow instead of this. If you are taller, beware that this will make you lose some mattress length.
